xray1324 Posted November 7, 2021 Author Share Posted November 7, 2021 October 2023 Results This month was really good for us, we went unbeaten for nearly the entire month, and I'll just say this - if Teun Koopmeiner didn't show up and score 2 long shot goals in the second half, we would've won that game against Liverpool 1-0. We're looking fairly solid this season, and because of the results this month, we stay at fourth. We even have a 5 point gap now! We had one shot on target the whole game! This month sees us move up to 3rd. This signifies just how good our defense is right now. We finish the group unbeaten, and deservedly go on to the first knockout round. Next Month A fairly easy month all things considered, most of these games should be wins for us. Especially in midfield, and as I noticed that, I snapped up another midfielder. I was going for Matteo Guendozi too (or however you spell his name), but OM wanted 77m for him. No sir! We drop down to 5th as a result. Transfers In Gavi He's got plenty of potential and as a bonus he's only 19. Toloza A long term replacement for the aging Jose Sa. Out Joao wasn't improving, Sanderson, Giles and Sarkic weren't good enough, and Silva needed more gametime to improve. Toloza is a new signing that we loaned back to their existing club. We were on the defensive end a significant amount in the Arsenal Game but came through with a 2-0 win. We were even at halftime against Everton getting a penalty and us getting a well-struck free kick. We then conceded twice lol. Liverpool was also interesting since usually we lose, but I think we could have won if Kilman didn't get himself sent off with a second yellow card 15 minutes after he scored. I'm back. Lorcan Keane The best rated potential of the group, let's have a look at him, then. Not bad but definitely could be better, he's got room to improve, but for a 15 year old this isn't bad. Morgan Bourne Second best rated potential. Needs significant work. Chris Roberts-Haworth That's a mouthful of a name. Wow. Though I'm not overly interested considering the long term project I have set up with Wolves. Palmer gets the Young Player of the Season award again, which is nice. It's also good to see Correia getting some credit here. I was beginning to believe that we were going to slip from our 4th place spot, with us unable to score a goal, however luckily that wasn't the case. We managed to win, knocking it out of the park in the last game of the season! Coady wants to leave Fortunately for him, I am okay with this, Coady is getting on a bit now, and I promised him I'll sell him in the next transfer window. We were up 2-1 at half-time before conceding 2 goals and not scoring any in the last 45 minutes. In the Everton game we simply couldn't finish, and the Liverpool game, we were practically saved by them getting an early bath in the 37th minute, and just before half-time, Johanneson scored.
