Adding team to league - not providing media prediction

If I add a team to a league, but don't give them a media prediction for finishing position, will this cause any issues? I presume this is a dynamic item anyway, with teams making transfers, suffering injuries etc from day one. Are there any other items like this safely ignored?

A lot of teams don't have media prediction. The game will then look at the variables and decide what the prediction will be.
