January transfer window

I'm finding that a lot of the players that I am interested in buying in January, when you go to put a transfer offer in, is coming up with club x are not prepared to sell player in mid season. I think this is a great little extra for realism and when I tried a game with the ingame editor on, it meant the hidden asking price was never accepted.  I assume this is down to that being what they would be willing to sell for in the close season but if you want them now it's more than double.

Is there anyway of filtering the search to exclude players the teams aren't prepared to sell in Jan or is it a case of going to each player individually to make an offer and see if it's there or not.

I appreciate the realism of not being able to exclude them from a search, however, sometimes when you just want to get through the game a bit quicker, it is a handy option to have if you don't want to spend 2 weeks IRL going through the Jan window!
