Rawking2008
It's just sad to see a great player retire due to injury. Has anyone else gotten this type of news? This is my first time receiving it.
LSD
I've had it about a couple of my players but never from another team!
O\'Hara_fan
I once had a player retire due to injury, nowhere near as good as Kaka, but it was a shame to see him retire for me, influencial player in our promotions.
nerner
Had it happen to Wes Brown, which was a shame, but he was getting phased out of the team anyway.
xenardo
I heard Kaka IRL had a serious injury before he started playing professional football.
nerner
Really? he's a miracle if that is the case.

jimny
Really? he's a miracle if that is the case. From wikipedia: At the age of eighteen, Kaká suffered a career-threatening and possibly paralysis-inducing spinal fracture as a result of a swimming pool accident, but remarkably made a full recovery. He attributes his recovery to God and has since tithed his income to his church.
nerner
Yeah, just found that out on wikipedia myself, therefore he is a miracle.

LSD
Yeah, just found that out on wikipedia myself, therefore he is a miracle. A miracle in your opinion... I would class different situations as a miracle tbh
nerner
well he suffers a serious spinal fracture in an horrible accident and then grows up to become one of the worlds best footballers, what do you class as a miracle then?
LSD
well he suffers a serious spinal fracture in an horrible accident and then grows up to become one of the worlds best footballers, what do you class as a miracle then? A single parent who has time to juggle a full-time career and 3 kids is something I would class as a miracle
nerner
I would still say that he is a miracle.

Jambo_Dave
I had a player retire in my Stuttgart team on Doctors advise. He was only 27 and a belgian international and a key man in my plans. There wasn't any warning as he hadnt been out injured as such, just had one of those injuries that the physio "believes will cause problems in the future" for about 2 years. Very disappointing for me as he was a good player.
