But that's the thing, I do not want the annoying weekly report, I have that turned down myself as well, I set up the training schedule half a year in advance. Or if I wanna scout different teams and switch, I lose the filter..

Is there any way of making it "default" or making sure it doesnt go back?

I find it exstremely hard to make my players make runs in behind the defends. Both outside and in the channels. The below picture describe my frustation well. Can i solve this somehow?

You ask your players to overlap. This is the opposite of what you want to achieve here. And your other instructions tend to encourage more the overlap than to pass into space. You tell them to be more disciplined, then they will not disregard your instructions.

Tickle off "overlap on left flank" and it should improve.

I'm up to February (England) and any contract offers are still limited to the end of the current season, not the following one. It makes things fairly tricky in terms of squad building. I haven't played a non-league game for a long time and it wasn't this restrictive before?

In the scouting centre, in the 'Cards' view, I have ticked the 'shortlist' option to add this player to the shortlist.  There are another 23 players in this section, but how exactly do I view the next player? 

This has always bugged me as I can't seem to view the next player unless I select 'not interested' or 'acknowledge', both of which I presume, removes this player from the shortlist I have just added him to.

Acknowledge just means OK. The players will be added to your shortlist.

is there a way to increase the injuries in this game?? there are literally barely any injuries, i just went through the injuries tab of the top 4 leagues in england, the most was 1 team with 5 injuries, then a few that had 4 injuries..... I honestly think it would be fun being in a injury crisis, forced to use youth, i dont think i have ever had to do this in any fm i've ever played

Is there a way when setting your lineups (I default using settings for my AM to recommend based on fitness etc) but if I have a guy that can play multiple positions is there a way to set him to ONLY play a certain position without setting the lineup and having to change that player every single match?  In this case he's my #1 CB, DM and Right Back.  I'd like him to default to right back but the AI/Asst Mgr suggest continues to put him at CB which ends up screwing up three positions for me.

how do I export a CSV or other table of the players in my teams (senior, u21, u18) with stats etc so I can use excel or similar to track them?  I find the lack of historical data on player stats and management data annoying when it comes to planning. is there a way to export my squad view?

Set up the squad view with the info you want and press CTRL+P and select Web Page, then open it in a browser and copy-paste it into a spreadsheet.

Y la segunda es si en el ojeo tengo marcado a todo el mundo, por qué en cualquier plantilla que entro me marca que "necesita ojeo". You can skip matches only if you download some user made custom skins that had added something called "instant result". Do keep in mind that this is not official functionality, so use on your own risk.

As for scouting required, have you scouted them? Just having the world package doesnt mean you know everything about them. You need to set up your scouting.

You can do that by setting up match plans from the tactics screen.

I've made the Champions League several years in a row but the one problem I'm having is the HGC I usually only have 1 or 2 of the 4 players so end up with a 22 or 23 man squad instead of the full 25.  It seems a couple of things are happening.  (1) My quality English players are the ones primarily headhunted by other clubs and I can't keep them as a newer club into the Premier/CL levels.  Even with good finishes (won the FA Cup, Top 4 PL finishes four straight years, etc I'm still a small team compared to City, Barcelona, PSG etc.  (2) My youth recruitment is Excellent but still only 1 or 2 4* potential players per year.  Haven't had a golden generation yet.  Youth Level is 1 (that's the best I think).  So not generating much in the way of incoming young players.

So, what can I do to deal with this situation?

How do i convince the board to look for affliate clubs? They keep rejecting me for 10 years meanwhile i raised the club from 3rd league to a position where we play up to 16's at Championship League each year, with €400,000,000.00 in the bank, just saying there are no financial issues.

They agree on finding a senior affliate club but they fail to find any club meanwhile they never agree to search for any kind of affliate club. Is the game bugged? Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

The senior affiliate is about for smaller reputation clubs and in league pyramids (or lower leagues compared to EPL, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga), where trying to gain some income and benefit from free loans. Think of Vanarama National having a link with a team from Championship or Premier League.

I see, getting a seniour affliate would be meaningless in that case. Yet it doesn't change the fact that the board keeps refusing every request at getting a smaller affliate clubs, what's the reason for that?

It depends of what type of affiliate you ask for. Maybe, you already have many and board don't see further point to have more.

The club has no affliate clubs whatsoever, regardless of senior or not. They refused each time regardless of the reasoning behind getting an affliate club. I even saved before asking today, reload the file after each refusal but they just don't care.

I will try to solve the issue if there is a problem but i just cannot see it if there is any.

Agreed FM default injuries are too low, its insane folks sometimes think otherwise.

You'll have to start a new game but use the @Daveincid Realism pack.  Definitely increases your injuries, especially if you try to use an intense gegenpress type tactic. 

I'm playing with a Singaporean team right now, managed to make Asian Champions League, so fixture congestion like crazy with a club that can't really handle it.  Injuries and fatigue stacking up, its all hand on deck right now... i've got schoolboys playing big matches.

Increased injuries makes you find effective tactics without just crazy pressing, and it also makes AI clubs actually give chances to their wonderkids instead of letting them rot on a bench with 3 career league matches played at age 22.

Lets say I want my u19 players to play a game on sunday, but reserve team plays Saturday, somehow they end up playing in the reserve team on Say, preventing them to be in form for the u19 game..

Any way to control this?

Select players with tick, right click, Reserve squad, Make unavailable.

Didnt work unfortunately, there is not option to choose that (only u19), unless I move my entire u19-squad into my first team

The answer to these questions, acknowledging that they're a little old now, is perhaps to tick "using caching" in Preferences. With that NOT ticked, the screen has to load from default from each time. When it is ticked, you're last settings for the screen (or the filter) should remain in place.

Obvious answer is to pick the team yourself. However, I get it. What you can do is perhaps "pick" that player yourself in the RB position and then use the Asst Mgr suggest remaining positions. I sometimes do that when I want to run a mostly U19 team but I have a couple of senior players that need game time. Drop them into their positions and then let the AM choose the rest from the U19 squad.

Hello all! Could you help me with following issue? I am managing the club in English Vanarama National League level. My senior team had the last game few days ago winning the FA Trophy. But my U21 team still has U21 Premiere Division seni-final and hopefully even final game to play + my U18 team has the last National U18 League North West league game to play. But game wants to send my team to end-of-season holiday. Is it a bug in the system or can I somehow change the date of when the holiday starts for my team? Or is there any other chance to be able to play those last games?

My experience with squads going on holiday is that it is based on each individual squad, not the entire club at the same time. For instance, I know that in Germany my U19s go on winter holiday about a week before my 1st team players do. It occasionally makes my heart jump because I think its a message about the 1st team when there's still a game to play haha! So, I would just check the message to see which squad it wants to send on holiday.

I have never seen a message or action to change the date of holiday so if it does indeed send the whole club, I wouldn't know how to overcome that I'm afraid.

How do I set multiple players for release simultaneously? The 'set for release' button is grayed out.

This is the overview you get when the 'contracts set to expire' mail appears in the inbox. In FM19, which I am more used to, I could simply select all the players I wanted set for release, rightclick and via 'contract' choose 'set for release'. But here in FM22, this option is not available under 'contract', only mutual termination and release on a free. And the grayed out button never ungrays itself.
It makes no difference when I set the responsibilities for contract discussions to me or to my DoF.

What am I missing here?

 

 

 

Edit: So, I found the reason. What I was missing was that in Northern Ireland the contract end dates varied. Some players had end of December, some end of June, some end of May. In addition, these players still had more than a year on their contract* and the 'set to release' option does not appear in such cases.

I simmed to 30 December in Italy, where I know everybody's contract ends neatly at the end of June, and the 'set for release' option was available there. So, problem solved.

 

*Why it then appears in my inbox is a different question, but I don't really care about that.

Hi everyone. I'm noticing that Real Madrid Castilla have a limit meaning they can only register players for La Liga Hypermotion as long as the total wages are not more than 44.5k per week. Is there anything I can do to affect the variables that calculate this?

 

For what it's worth Real Madrid have £209 million in the bank.

I wasn't familiar with Spanish football quirks, but (IRL) it looks like they establish a salary cap, on a per-club basis, based on their earnings. In the game, I've seen it suggested that the calculation uses your wage budget at certain points of the season (e.g. change-over to a new season). The work-around suggested is to move as much of your transfer budget to your wage budget at that time to get a more favorable calculation. Then, you can reverse the change after the salary cap has been determined.

Additionally, you can apparently remove the salary caps from the Spanish leagues using the pre-game editor. I couldn't figure out how to do it. It looks to involve delving into the advanced rules.

Or, you can just figure out how to make more money and increase your wage budget organically (probably not the answer you wanted).
