How does city attraction work when buying players?

For example, London has 20 for attraction, but Thornton Heath 7.

Crystal Palace are a London club, but based in the area called Thornton Heath?

So are Crystal Palace rated on London or Thornton Heath or both?

It seems kinda unfair that Wimbledon is rated 15 and Thornton Heath 7. Whether you are footballer or a normal person, you wouldn't care about the semantics. You would class yourself as living in London firstly.

London is in the game as a city and as a region, that's why you can be confused. Attraction is connected to the city, not the region so whatever city the club is connected to - that's the 'city/club attraction'

But remember that city attraction is far less important than club's reputation, league reputation, money offered etc.
