Panosgeo79
Hi guys I would like to ask you a question about less top leagues I am managing Panathinaikos in Greece and I was wondering as the league increasing in Europe rankings status each year ,cause of our good run in European competitions, does also the status of the league ( as the stars showing) and most important the match experience of the league increasing as well? I was wondering if my younger players get even better now that my league has gone to 4 stars rating from 3 that has started. I am playing in FM2021 but the same question applies in FM2022 as well Thanks in advance
FrazT
As league ranking increases, I would expect that better players and coaches can be attracted to play there and so the standard should go up again. It is a slow process as I think it uses a rolling 5 year average, so it does take time for continued success to show in reputation rise.
Panosgeo79
Yes I get it but does the reputation rising helps the development of my younger players since the competition is getting better and better? I am wondering mainly about the development rate
FrazT
It doesn't help directly, but a better standard of league, better players being recruited and importantly, better coaches will help the development of the young players, but it wont be an immediate effect and will take years to work its way through to youth development.
