What is the difference between shots on target per 90 mins and Shots on target ratio?

Recommended Posts

shots on target per 90 is exactly what it is and short on target ratio is the percentage of shot you get on target. so the first number just counts the number of shots you have on target in 90 min the second take into account the total number of shots and give you a percentage of how many of those were on target.

Player A- Minutes played 1350 , shots on target 50 = 3.33 shots on target per 90 mins

              - shots attempted 120 , shots on target 50 = 41.6% shots on target ratio

Player B- Minutes played 180 , shots on target 10 = 5 shots on target per 90 mins

              - shots attempted 12 , shots on target 10 = 83.3% shots on target ratio

Shots on target per 90 breaks it down to how many shots a player has had on target per 90 minutes.

Shots on target ratio breaks down how many of the payers attempted shots over the season have been on target.
