More useful stats (progressive passes and possession adjusted defensive stats)

  • Possession adjusted defensive stats: Defensive stats like tackling numbers and interceptions are skewed towards players in teams with low possession numbers. Having these stats adjusted for possession equals it and it makes it easier to sign players looking at that.

 

  • Progressive passes: having the percentages of pass completed is great however, it doesn't give us any hint on what kind of passes the player is passing. With progressive passes I can tell if I players number is high because he passes sideways and low risk passes or if he plays a lot of progressive passes and pulls them off
