what might be the reason for fit and well performing players to have nearly all of their attributes' arrows going down?

I notice this occasionally and have absolutely no idea.
according to their "hearts" they are not fatigued and are very happy.

but could it be some kind of mental fatigue after many matches?

I think it's only ME trying to calibrate the CA from the player I don't know I don't understand either, it's just a guess.

One specific situation where I have seen this happen is when a player is training a new position. An example could happen when training a DM with great jumping/heading ability to be a CD. Those jumping/heading attributes become more "costly" as a CD than as a DM, and I find everything drops a bit to keep them from becoming too good for their CA level.

To add, because the positions are fairly similar, those re-adjustments will be minor.
