nasaiain
Ive been trying for a while to solve this one and im strill struggling. I have a playoff with 28 teams competing for 4 playoff spots, the 28 teams are seeded 4 through to 31 (seeds 0 to 3 are doing someting else that works just fine). IN which in each round the higest remainaing seed will always play the lowest remaining seed I have the round defaults set up in the first round seeds 4-7 get a bye, so 12 games are matched up correctly as so 8 vs 31, 9 vs 30, and so on up to 19 vs 20, in this test all the higher seeds win (8-19) and are then joined by 4-7, and once again set up correctly 4 vs 19, though to 11 vs 12 once again all the higher seeds qualify, apart from the game highlighted in which seed 17 qualified, so the 8 seeds in the final round are 4,5,7,8 as the highest 4, expected to be at home, against 9,10,11,17 and should be matched up as follows 4 vs 17, 5 vs 11, 7 vs 10 and 8 vs 9, but the following happens If the top seeds always qualify then everything runs smoothly, but as soon as a lower seed wins a game, the matchups just go to pot Edited April 19, 2022 by nasaiain
samba23
There is an option on the draw rules "Winning Team Takes Seeding". Try this and see if it fixes your problem

Try this and see if it fixes your problem Unfortunatly that does do what I require, that would take the 17th seed and make them the 6th seed. that would put them in the top 4 remaining seeds, when they should still be the lowest seed remaining
