displaced_seagull
As a Non-League club chairman who has been in the position of replacing our first team manager recently, it got me thinking about the very start of the game. Increasingly, when you appoint a manager, it becomes as much about the management team they wish to bring with them - Assistant and Coaches - as much as about the individual given the top job. I would like (love, actually) the ability to create an assistant manager at the same time as you create a manager. This would be particularly beneficial for those of us who like managing at low levels where you can quite often come into a club with no staff at all. It would mean that straight away you could take advantage of the excellent delegation options and more importantly, get an immediate opinion on your squad. Obviously as the game progresses, should you decide to, you can then sack/replace the assistant, but it would be a real benefit in the very early stages of saves especially.
