4-4-2 wing play pre set tactic

i wanted to talk about the pre set wing play tactic in 4-4-2. Has anyne had any success using it without making any changes to it? i like the tactic but curious to see if anyone has used it for a whole save

i'm currently using this type of 4--4--2 with Southend, it's different than a preseta but uses principles of wing play.
It's doing fine, 7 wins, 2 draws, and 1 loss, it's
It's a little one dimensional and it's probably not going to do well in bigger rank unless you have world class players who can do something on their own when we face stubborn defenses.

yeah sometimes simple tactics work well, especially with the 4-4-2, iv created a few of my own similar to your one, the pre set version is very weak with the attacking wing back
