talino7
I'd like to introduce a new tactic that's related to my primary tactic. When is the best time to start using in order to decide if I t will work for my team?
HUNT3R
Best time to test out a new tactic is in pre-season, imo. The matches aren't important, so the results do not matter. You can watch the tactic in action and tweak aas much as you need to (or want to).
phnompenhandy
Yup pre-season with all those friendlies.
fc.cadoni
Pre-Season There two schools here: One is using a tactic based of what you have. The other is building squad around the tactic.
DementedHammer
I'd also say pre-season, with the caveat that it is important to play a range of teams of different strengths, to ensure that the tactic is robust. Since teams are less likely to change things up massively to chase or preserve a result in a friendly, it is important to ensure that the tactic works acceptably across those situations, as best as you can. At the very least, I'd suggest playing teams of a similar strength to those that you will encounter once the league kicks off.
