denen123
It would be helpful if you shared your tactic(s)
Poison
Cautious mentality is your friend imo. I've had success with Boro playing with cautious mentality and an attacking midfielder. Not so much with Man City tbh because they had Haaland and I couldn't keep him quiet, but with the other teams I've won many times.
DMVian
5-2-3 counter attack with your lines Low/Low and GK instructed to distribute over the opposition defense. Sometimes you get the 4-0 loss. Occasionally you get a couple lucky breaks and win 2-1.
Overmars
Some ideas: Play fast strikers with good anticipation who can beat an offside trap Encourage your players to try long balls with "try risky passes" player instructions and "pass into space" Use players who "enjoy big matches" and avoid the opposite type of players who fold under pressure Use an expert set piece taker, play for set pieces, and hope you grab a corner or free kick goal You might have to use a "stay on feet" instruction to avoid conceding too many free kicks and accumulating too many cards
