Does Technique affect other Technical Attributes like shoots?

Technique

A player with high Technique is more likely to pull off a tricky pass or a cross-field ball with greater ease than someone less technically able, or to use their preferred foot in situations where their weaker one would appear to be easier. This in turn affects technical attributes – poorer Technique will let a player down.

 

This is a technique related explanation, but I wonder if it only affects the pass and cross-field balls.

I had assumed that technique affected many things: passing, shooting, dribbling, crossing, and whatever else.  when I hover over it, it also says: "This attribute reflects the aesthetic quality of a player's technical game; how refined they are with the ball at feet."  So I am not 100% sure, but affecting every action the player has with the ball is how I always read this.

The technique attribute will affect all of the skills so not just the ones you mentioned.
