SonicWill
Hi there, I'd like to propose a feature relating to a manager's reputation and the likelihood to be offered jobs. My understanding is that this is primarily decided by manager reputation star ratings (obviously the interviews matter, but qualifying for an interview is dependent upon star ratings). I'd like to add a "manager momentum" bar that would impact potential job offers. This would be a snapshot as to how well a manager is doing now and how high his stock is. The real life example would be Michael Beale at QPR. They're currently flying high at the top of the Championship and, as a result, he was offered the Wolves job. Let's say that QPR finish the season midtable. In FM, his manager reputation would likely be the same both now (when he is sitting 1st) and at the end of the season (finishing midtable). In real life, the opportunity he was offered at Wolves wouldn't present itself if QPR's form dropped off. To that end, the manager momentum feature would add another layer to job offers and players deciding whether or not to accept an offer from a bigger club. There would no longer be the guarantee that they could get a big club coming in for them at any point in the future, as it would be tied to their momentum. Thanks. Administrators Zachary Whyte Posted November 14, 2022 Administrators Share Posted November 14, 2022 Thank you for the request. This is going to be reviewed and may yet be rejected or end up in a future FM.
