Managing Younger teams

Hello,

I have been thinking this for the past 4/5 editions of the game and one i had really hoped would come to fruition since but i suppose if someone doesn't suggest it, it may not have been considered so here goes!

I think an added extra to make the game more realistic is the chance to manage clubs U18 and U21/23 sides in addition to the main team.

If those who play are like me, i like to start a save unemployed and it would be more realistic to be picked up by say 'Oxford City U18s' than the first team. This way, you can prove yourself in the younger ages, similar to having a national team where the players made available to you are limited. I'd also like to see the opportunity to make suggestions for players to go up an age group or to the first team, in a similar way to the backroom staff suggesting this at the monthly meetings. This way you can play your own tactic or club tactic then. And players can react to your suggestions in a positive way.

You can get also get poached by other clubs u18/23 team but the big feature would be that if your club sack the manager then you can step in as interim and prove your worth like in real life. If you are U18 and the U21 manager goes/sacked then you step into that to prove yourself.

You can also trial players and provide knowledge on teams you play against and recommend your club sign them. You build up player relations in the same way you do now etc.

This shouldn't affect the size of the data bases as they already are in place too.

Also, in addition. If you are at a lower club and you have a good relationship to the first team manager and he gets picked up by a bigger club. He may wish to take you with him to manager that clubs respective age group instead of you taking interim charge of the current.
