Mandatory future fee issue

Is there a way for me to cancel a mandatory fee at the end of the loan period? I looked in the in game editor but  couldn't see anything to change it to "optional" but the loan is still not over  yet. Any suggestions welcome!

Well there shouldnt be. U signed a contract that u'll buy the player at the end of the loan.

mandatory is mandatory
if there was a cancel button, then will not be called mandatory

I had a mandatory fee included in a loan, but the loan was cancelled by the other team about a month from the end of the loan due to jot enough game time! Infuriating as I wanted him!

The only way to change or remove Mandatory Future Fee is via FMRTE, that too only after the loan is agreed upon and signed.

That shouldn't be possible - having a Mandatory Future Fee would enforce the 'Loan Cannot Be Terminated' instruction. Not sure how or why this happened to you.
