Where is my deleted save?

Where do deleted saves go when you delete them from this load game page. It hasn't gone to my recycle bin. Completely gone. Cant find it anywhere.

What's strange though is when I delete a save from the Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2023\games folder, that save goes to the recycle bin and you can restore if you want

I would assume that when you delete from the Documents folder, you are using Windows deletion and that will save the file in the Recycle bin.  When you delete from within the game, this will presumably delete the game files directly and so will not be recoverable.

Previous FM games they went to recycle bin when deleting directly from the game

They should go in the recycle bin iirc, if not that may be a bug worth asking in the bug tracker so QA can check it out

I believe FM22 they didn't go in the recycle bin either. They used to on previous versions but I don't think they did on FM22. So I imagine it is by design, or it's a setting you can change. Doubt it's a bug.

EDIT: just saw that SI staff suggested it may be a bug. I would be curious to know the outcome once the QA team looks at it.
