Bahnzo
I have a great IW in my first team now for a couple seasons who consistently finds himself in scoring positions. But he has a finishing attribute of 8, so he generally squanders those. I've trained him with a "rounds the keeper" trait, but I've never seen him use it as he's rarely in a position to do that. Is there a trait I could train him in which would help him score more reliably?
Johnny Ace
Not really, no trait's going to make him a better finisher, all you can do is train him to try and improve it "Looks for a pass rather than a shot" might be a suitable one
Hypercane6
‘Shoot with power’ helps with poor finishing IIRC
HanziZoloman
Likes to round keeper - gets the player in a better position to shot, works wonders …
silentwars
Do you have him on a support or attack duty? If he's on attack maybe take it down to support. Put shoot less often on his PI's and the PPM 'looks for pass'. Maybe train his finishing and look for an upgrade if you have some money to spend. Jyuan83
Why don’t you play him as an IF or as a Raumdeuter since he often gets into good positions? I once used a winger with a a finishing of just 5 to score 18 goals in a season just as a Raumdeuter.
kingjericho
I usually look for the following for players with poor finishing: Looks for pass instead of shot - although in 1v1 the player still shoots obviously Likes to round keeper - for players with good dribbling and speed Shoots with power - players with low composure (tip: it works marvelously for players with good finishing and technique!)
