tvtsvo
Hello, This is my first message here because there here something I don't understand on this new Football Manager (sorry if my english writing is bad, I'm french). So what I like to do on FM is to have a style of play based on Marcelo Bielsa's ideas of protagonism (aggressive pressing and counter-pressing, counter-attacks, verticality with the ball, create overloads on the flanks). To confirm my view about his principles, I read about the data and I found that his Leeds United's team is the one who makes the more sprints in the Premier League in 2020/2021 season. In FM, howewer, I see that my team is often beat in this domain by the opponent although I have the ball most of the time and my OPPDA is the lowest. Do you have an idea why? Is my tactic wrong? The team without the ball is usually the one with more of a need for high intensity sprints (similar for kilometres run as well). That's kind of a big idea behing posession based systems: Let the ball do the 'running' and tire the other team out by having them chasing the ball. I suspect that beyond that things like the work rate attribute influence this but of course also stuff like pressing frequency, wether or not you pass the ball into space etc. But in general, not having the high number here isn't bad per se. Angus Osborne
I don't think that Bielsa-ball can be properly simulated in FM. As a human manager in FM you can achieve more than Bielsa has in real life, apart from the beauty
