Play through injury

Hi,

When you have this option, so the player wears protective equipment (arm injury for example), do you choose it over a specialist?

Well, just bought FM 2023 couple of days ago, so not familiar with that option.

But in FM 2022 I always leave all injuries to specialist.

If it's a big game and I'm desperate for them to play, absolutely.

I am on FM20 and I have had the option for the player to play for the whole duration of the injury. It has been a hand injury each time. They are injured for a bit longer and doesnt recover as fast between matches but they can play once a week or 3 matches per month at least. I think its very useful and better than sending them to a specialist. They become orange injured for the whole duration of the injury.

If it is a key player, for sure I will play him.  But if is a role player and it is not a part of the season with many games, maybe is better just not play him.

Problem is, you might easily lose the key player for half of season...so it's big risk.
