Berbatov9
Why no "Sir?" in FM 09?
Carradona
He lost his title at a poker game.
CaptainPlanet
Because he's a red nosed **** I noticed this too, don't know if it's a data issue or if they've changed the way player names are stored.
Mike7077
SI are staunch republicans and won't allow anything that alludes to the British monarchy.
Glenn Wakeford
I don't know. You may want to ask in the Data Issues forum, the Man Utd researcher might know.
giblets_of_fire
In the same way there is no Mr Arsene Wenger, i dont think FM does prefixes. edit: I actually remember Tottenham had a Dr Charlotte Cowie as a physio in FM07, so there goes my theory out of the window

TomHAVFC
Why no "Sir?" in FM 09? Does it really matter? No need to add the ""
x42bn6
Also, would it be pushing for Giggs to be called "Ryan Giggs OBE"?
jedclough
Well done SI. As a staunch republican (not a god-bothering, moose worrying US Republican but one that longs for the end of the Monarcy) I like to see that enobled footballers are stripped of their titles. I'm especially glad that the ashen-faced, Glaswegian curmudgeon has not been recognised for his services to cynicism. However, can I ask that you add the prefix "God" to Matt Le Tissier
SmurfDude
I brought this up in the Manchester united data thread and was met with a reply of "why not call everyone else MR aswell" or something to that effect Which is obviously a stupid answer. So I don't know

SI Staff Keith Flannery Posted December 2, 2008 SI Staff Share Posted December 2, 2008 Prefix's were added in one of the past versions of the game as part of the first name. e.g. 'Professor Tom'-first name, 'Cannon'-surname which caused a bit of a headache when you would get 15-16 year old newgens who re-use existing names being called 'Sir' / 'Professor' / 'Doctor' etc.
