Will St. Louis CITY SC get moved conferences

Hi,

this is pertaining to the brand new American team, St  Louis City Sc, in the MLS  

In the base game, they don’t start until a year into the save. When they do start, they start in the wrong conference. I know at the time of game release, MLS didn’t announce what conference St. Louis would be in but now that they have, will SI move them to the correct conference?

is it possible to do so myself? 
 

for none American fans, the MLS is split into two conferences, an east and West.
