Concentration

How well the player can focus mentally and pay attention to detail on an event-by-event basis. A high rating here means that the player is more consistent on a move-by-move basis during a match. They also react better under pressure, position themselves correctly in all phases of play, and make better judgment calls in tight situations, while players with lower concentration struggle more in these areas.

The manual explains it like this, but I'm curious about the definition of event-by-event and move-by-move here.
and Is that a different definition than simply how consistent you are over 90 minutes?

It's the basic definition, if your concentration attribute is low, it means you can't concentrate throughout the match and you can make stupid mistakes more easily, especially under pressure. If you have high concentration, you are 'calm' all match and make right decisions, you won't be surprised by some random event's in the match.

Yeh this. At the level I play at, you see defenders switching off all the time.
