Punch
DEC 2025 - Match Day 24 We had the weekend off as we had already played Bracknell, who were on FA Trophy duty today. Chippenham won, cutting our lead to 7 points, while H&Y were beaten at home again. Bedford jump to 3rd place, and we travel to meet them in our next match. Punch
DEC 2025 - Match Day 25 - At Bedford Town FC The New Eyrie - Bedford Spoiler Match Report Spoiler Another tough match, and another match where mistakes cost us. We had the better of the chances, but had to come from behind again to rescue a point. Table Spoiler Some shock results as Chippenham were thrashed, while H&Y seem to be falling apart. We push the lead back out to 8 points. Up next...we travel to last place Slough.
Punch
DEC 2025 A poor finish to the year as we win only one of our last four games. The Analyst is not too unhappy, but we need to cut out some of the mistakes that gave up easy goals. We still hold first, but only because the teams below us have been as inconsistent, or even worse then we were this month. Stats Goalkeepers Defenders Midfielders Forwards Last month I was linked with Wycombe, this month it was MK Dons. Again, no offers, but the Board were happy that I shot it down. After ending last month with £200k in the bank, I got the Board to burn through it with upgrades this month, most of which went on us kicking off our first ever Youth Facility upgrade. One extra game this month, but hopefully we can manage the fatigue well now with just League games to concentrate on.
Punch
JAN 2026 - Match Day 26 - At Slough Town FC Arbour Park - Slough Spoiler Match Report Spoiler We blew off the New Years cobwebs, and a dusty December, to thrash the hapless Rebels. A blistering first half seen us 4-0 up at the break, before Kirkpatrick completed his hat-trick in the second half, to round out a 5-0 win. Always happy to see our defence keep a clean sheet as well. Table Spoiler The wheels seem to have completely fallen off at H&Y. The unbackable favourites at the start of the season, now find themselves in danger of struggling to make the play offs. A draw for Chippenham means we extend the lead back to double figures. Up next...we head back to the island to host 18th place Maidenhead.
Punch
JAN 2026 - Match Day 27 - Vs Maidenhead United FC Match Report Spoiler A solid performance against a tougher than expected Magpies outfit. It took two late goals to seal the points, but it was a massive defensive effort again to shut down their attack. Table Spoiler Chippenham were held to a draw, which has enabled us to extend the lead to 12 points. Up next...we host 20th place From.

They finished 10th last season and have been struggling this year. Hayes & Yeading are another interesting case. Relegated last season, odds on favourite to win the title, and started the season strongly, but have been struggling for the last few months, now finding themselves battling to stay in the play off spots.
Punch
JAN 2026 - Match Day 28 - Vs Frome Town FC Match Report Spoiler A massive home effort to run riot over The Robins. Docherty scored a brilliant hat-trick, along with a cracker from Cameron. A disappointing lapse to allow a goal to be conceded though. Table Spoiler We have now extended our lead to 14 points as the next four keep tripping over each other. Up next...we travel to 21st place Beaconsfield. Punch
JAN 2026 - Match Day 29 - At Beaconsfield Town FC Holloways Park - Beaconsfield Spoiler Match Report Spoiler A pretty uninspiring game to be honest, with just a penalty in each half to bother the scorers. Neither side could make much of their chances, while the Ref nearly blew the pea out of his whistle, pulling up every little thing. Table Spoiler The gap is cut back to 12 points. Up next...we travel to 8th place Cirencester.
Punch
JAN 2026 - Match Day 30 - At Cirencester Town FC Corinium Stadium - Cirencester Spoiler Match Report Spoiler There is not much to say about this game, it was terrible. The only bright spot was Sejdini, who somehow kept a clean sheet, including saving a penalty. Table Spoiler The lead is back down to 10 points. Up next...a monster clash at Footes Lane as we host 4th place Hayes & Yeading.
Punch
JAN 2026 Just like that, the first month of the year has passed us by. We started like a house on fire, but the last two games, although we didn't lose, we probably should have. The Analyst paints a better picture than the last two results. We hold a 10 point lead, with 12 games to play. We also still have games left against most of the side pushing for the pay offs. Stats Goalkeepers Defenders Midfielders Fowards Our Captain, Docherty has become the first Academy player to reach 100 League games for the club, and is only one goal short of being the first to reach 50 League goals as well. Still no offers, but I was linked with the Lincoln job - no pun intended A happy Board as I shot it down. So I took that happiness and turned it into another licence upgrade It didn't take long to send us back into the red. A game a week. I am liking this schedule, although it starts with H&Y at home, and finishes with Chippenham away. A big month that may go a long way towards our chances of winning the title. Punch
FEB 2026 - Match Day 31 - Hayes & Yeading United FC Match Report Spoiler A League record (non-play off) piled into Footes Lane to watch an epic battle unfold. Both sides went hard at each other for the full 90 minutes, the hosts getting the early goal, before we leveled late. A tough fight with neither side being able to score a winner, and shared points probably a fair result. Table Spoiler Chippenham won, cutting our lead down to 8 points, with 11 games to play. Up next...we travel to 13th place Dorchester.
Jtomsett11
A superb season so far, although the 3 draws in a row has cut your lead I can't see Chipenham winning every game which I feel they'd need to in order to overtake you!

A goal in each half was enough to secure the points. Table Spoiler Chippenham were beaten at home allowing us to our extend the lead again to 11 points, with 10 games to play. Punch
FEB 2026 - Match Day 33 - Vs Bideford AFC Match Report Spoiler A good crowd in at the Lane to see us put in a frustrating first half, despite an early goal, it looked like a day where we were not going to take the chances we created. A different team in the second half as the kids ran riot smashing in three goals, while the defence held firm to secure another clean sheet. Table Spoiler Chippenham won as well, keeping the gap at nine points. This makes our next game against them massive as a win would send us 14 clear with 8 to play, a loss will make it 8 points with 8 to play. A massive 6 pointer match that could almost decide the title in our favour. Up next...we travel to 2nd place Chippenham for a massive clash, a win could almost put us out of reach for the title. Punch
FEB 2026 - Match Day 34 - At Chippenham Town FC Hardenhuish Park - Chippenham Spoiler Match Report Spoiler Top of the table clash that delivered on it's potential, as we had to come from behind to secure a massive, and hard earned three points. The Bluebirds took the lead into the break, but we hit back straight after. Cotterill headed us into the lead late, before we hung on for dear life in the final 10 minutes, barely managing to survive. Table Spoiler Two team jumped Chippenham, giving us a 13 point lead over Totton, with 8 games to play. It's not quite over, but we have a fingernail on the trophy. Up next...we travel to 12th place Gosport, which won't be an easy assignment, as they have been a bogey team for us over the last few seasons.
Punch
FEB 2026 A draw at home in front of a record crowd, before we went on a run of three straight wins. A happy Analyst with a much improved defensive performance this month. Eight games to play. We are charging towards the business end of the season now. Stats Goalkeepers Defenders Two more Academy players reach the 100 League game milestone. Midfielders Forwards Docherty reaches the 50 League goal milestone. Still going backwards. A tricky month coming up. We start against bogey team Gosport, before finishing with two home games against teams in the Play Off race.

Punch
MAR 2026 - Match Day 35 - Gosport Borough FC Privett Park - Gosport Spoiler Match Report Spoiler One of our worst performances as we gave up an early lead, and then tried too hard to get it back. We created chances but snatched at them, the crowd was in more danger than the scoreboard, as Boro continue to be a bogey team for us. Table Spoiler Totton win, bringing the gap back to 10, with 7 to play. Up next...we travel to 15th place Poole.
Punch
MAR 2026 - Match Day 36 - At Poole Town FC Tatnam Ground - Poole Spoiler Match Report Spoiler A dominant performance but we were really made to earn it. A goal in each was enough to secure the points, but the match really wasn't decided until very late. A good bounce back from our last start loss though. Table Spoiler We gain a point, increasing to 11 points with 6 to play. While the title isn't secure yet, we are guaranteed a play off position at the worst. Qualifying for the play offs means we are also guaranteed our best ever finish in this League. Up next...the first of two massive home games in a row as we host the now 3rd place Totton.
Punch
MAR 2026 - Match Day 37 - Vs AFC Totton Match Report Spoiler A monster crowd in at Footes Lane to see what will go down as one of the craziest games of football I've ever seen. We were down 0-2 before 10 minutes had elapsed, and 10 minutes later, it was 2-2. A third goal gave us the lead by half time, which was most unexpected as the visitors were all over us. THey leveled after the break, and then had a chance to kill the game with a penalty on 51 minutes, but Sejdini came up huge again to save the spot kick. A Tyrie rocket from outside the area gave us the lead with about 10 to play, and from the we managed to hang on for dear life, and secure the points. I am going to need a lie down after this one Table Spoiler 11 point lead with 5 games to play. We are now beyond the 2 points per game ratio, which a lot of people believe is too much to make up. While the title is not official, we now have one hand firmly on the trophy. Up next...another monster home clash as we host 5th place Wimborne.
Punch
MAR 2026 - Match Day 38 - Vs Wimborne Town FC Match Report Spoiler Another League attendance record at Footes Lane, as the crowd piled in eager to see if we could wrap up the title. It wasn't to be though as a determined Magpies outfit hung on with 10 men to earn a hard fought point. Table Spoiler Hayes & Yeading have come good again at the end of the season, cutting our lead to 9 points with 4 games to play. While we will be looking to win the title in style, we really only need to win one of our remaining four games to win the title, due to our massive goal difference. Up next...we travel to 8th place Hendon.
Punch
MAR 2026 A rough start before back to back wins, then we finished out with a tough draw against Wimborne. A few massive crowds in at Footes Lane as well. The Analyst is happy with our performance this month. Nine point lead with four games to play, one more win and our goal difference should be enough to confirm the title. At the other end, Slough become the first team relegated. Stats Goalkeepers Defenders Midfielders Forwards Despite the massive crowd support, we still go backwards every month. The final month of the season kicks off, and we are so close to winning the title.

Punch
MAR 2026 - Youth Intake The Class of 26 arrives, and while it's not as strong as last years intake, there are some solid prospects in the group. The Potential stars show there is plenty to like about this group, but there are few with decent Current ability as well. A real mixed bag in the Attribute averages, again with some players already showing great potential. Another group of players with a lot of dual citizenship's, but we add DR Congo and Italy this year. The Top 5 Spoiler An exciting prospect, already has decent finishing, if we can get his pace up a bit, he will be dangerous. Another exciting forward prospect, again, it's about the potential. If we can get his numbers up, he looks another dangerous prospect. A solid looking defender that is already rated in the top 5 at the club. A solid midfielder, who already has great passing, and decent technique. Massive potential again. Paton looks to be another solid defender with massive potential. Again, if we can get those numbers up, looks a very solid defender. Overall a solid looking intake, with decent long term prospects, and some players who already look like they have decent ability. There are some who probably won't make the cut, but with the player numbers growing, it will be time to get more ruthless on who we keep and who we send on their way. Punch
APR 2026 = The Race to the title begins The title race is now a two way affair, although we are in the box seat, we also probably have the slightly harder run home overall. Punch
APR 2006 - Match Day 39 - At Hendon AFC Silver Jubilee Park - Kingsbury Spoiler Match Report Spoiler This game was all over the place, as we come from behind to level, then had to hang on to keep the point. A goal against the run of play for the hosts was cancelled out by our own converted penalty. Just when it looked like we were going to run over the top of them, we had a player sent off and had to hang on for the final 20 minutes to settle for a draw. Table Spoiler H&Y won, cutting our lead to 7 points with three games to play. They came from behind twice to snatch a draw. A lot to learn, but they handled themselves pretty well. An impressive first up performance sees the youngest scorer record fall. Table Spoiler Still four sides fighting over the last two play off spots. Punch
APR 2026 - Match Day 42 - Vs Merthyr Town FC Match Report Spoiler We finish the season on a high with a come from behind win in front of a monster crowd at Footes Lane. Down 0-2 before the break, we we level just after, before finding a late winner to send the fans home happy with a double celebration. Table Spoiler We take the title by 5 points, from pre-season favourites Hayes & Yeading. But what a crazy final day... Bedford come from the clouds to take a play off spot. Chippenham were challenging for the title at one stage, but miss out on the play offs completely after losing to Frome, who with that result, escaped the relegation zone. Four tams end up on the same points, but two miss the play offs on goal difference. It's been that kind of season. Punch
APR 2026 We wobbled somewhat, but still made it through the final month undefeated. The Analyst was happy with the performances. Pre-season favourites Hayes & Yeading win over Totton to take the play off promotion spot, joining us in the National North/South. We continue to lose money. My first trophy with the club, and the clubs second overall - after winning tier 10 way back in their inaugural season in 2010-2011. This became my second promotion with the club, and their third overall.
