Punch
DEC 2026 - Match Day 22 - Vs Worthing FC Match Report Spoiler A really pleasing performance as we come out on top in a tough fight against The Mackerel Men. Captain Docherty lead from the front with a goal in each half, before a pleasing defensive effort as the visitors applied plenty of pressure in the final 20, looking for an equaliser. Table Spoiler A first win in 5 takes us back up to 12th, and opens the gap the the relegation zone back to 8 points. Up next...FA Trophy time as we host division rival Chelmsford in the 3rd Round. Punch
DEC 2026 - FA Trophy 3rd Round - Vs Chelmsford City FC Match Report Spoiler We took an early lead over the Clarets and looked comfortable, without being able to put the game to bed. We then conceded against the run of play, and just as the game looked to be heading for penalties, Curry pops up to head home a winner in the dying moments to send us through. 4th Round Draw Spoiler We will host Canvey Island in the next round. Punch
DEC 2026 - Match Day 23 - At Truro City FC Treyew Road - Truro Spoiler Match Report Spoiler A tight fight against the White Tigers, with neither side being able to trouble each others goal. A side that won't go down in anyone's memory as a great game, but we do gain a valuable away point. Table Spoiler We lose a spot to 13th, and sit 8 points above the relegation zone. Punch
DEC 2026 - Match Day 24 - At Havant & Waterlooville FC Westleigh Park - Havant Spoiler Match Report Spoiler A heavily rotated squad was required for this one, just one days rest from our previous match. We have the hawks too much of a head start, and while the inexperienced kids did work their way back into the match, we were unable to run the hosts down. Table Spoiler We drop to 15th, but still 8 points above relegation zone. Up next...we host 8th place Hayes & Yeading.
Punch
DEC 2026 A rough month, winning only one of 5 Leagues games, but we did also manage to advance in the Trophy. Despite struggling to get results, we are still performing pretty well comparatively. We currently sit 15th, with an 8 point gap from the relegation zone. Punch
JAN 2027 - Match Day 25 - Vs Hayes & Yeading United FC Match Report Spoiler We renewed our rivalry from last season against United, and were able to come out on top, winning our first game of the new year. It was a tight affair, but in the shadows of full time, Docherty latched onto a great pass from Salmon to bury his shot, securing the three points. Table Spoiler We rise back up to 12th, now 10 points clear of the relegation zone. Up next...another tough assignment as we host League leaders Maidstone at Footes Lane. Punch
JAN 2027 - Match Day 26 - Vs Maidstone United FC Match Report Spoiler League leaders, The Stones, put our unbeaten home record under massive threat, as they applied plenty of pressure. They got the early goal and had all the running, and I don't know if it more good defence, or good luck that enabled us to prevent them scoring a second. Entering injury time, and looking like our home run was over, an innocuous attack resulted in a hand ball, which left the ref no option but to point at the spot. Substitute Abrahams stepped up and buried the spot kick, which secured a share of the points, and kept our unbeaten home League run alive, which has stretched nearly two years. Table Spoiler This was a make up game in advance, for those teams still involved in the FA Trophy next week, so we did gain a spot with so many teams inactive. Up next...we travel to 15th place Dulwich Hamlet.
Punch
JAN 2027 - Match Day 27 - At Dulwich Hamlet FC Champion Hill Stadium - London Spoiler Match Report Spoiler A really strange game at The Hamlet as we took a half time lead only to give it up just after the break. After withstanding their onslaught, we then went on run smashing in three goals to run away with the game. One of those weird games where we put four shots on target, and they all went in, they put seven on target, and only scored once. Table Spoiler We jump to 10th, but a lot of the teams have a game to play when we playing in the FA Trophy next weekend. Up next...FA Trophy 4th Round as we host Canvey Island. Punch
JAN 2027 - FA Trophy 4th Round - Vs Canvey Island FC Match Report Spoiler A two minute brace for Kirkpatrick was all it took to settle this one, in what was a pretty tight affair. The first goal rattled them, and we took full advantage to drive home a second while they were unsettled. The rest of the game was a tight struggle, with neither side being able to create a lot of genuine chances. 5th Round Draw Spoiler We will host Oldham, who have continued to fall down the League's, now finding themselves in the National North. Up next...back to League action as we travel to last place Concord.
Punch
JAN 2027 - Match Day 27 While we were busy on FA Trophy duty, the rest of the League were playing their League matches to catch up to us. Punch
JAN 2027 - Match Day 28 - At Concord Rangers FC The Aspect Arena - Canvey Island Spoiler Match Report Spoiler We made harder work of this than we probably should have against the last place Beach Boys. An early goal and a late goal were enough to secure the points though, as we continue on our recent good form. Table Spoiler We jump to 9th, now 13 points clear of the relegation zone, but also only 4 points from the play off places. Up next...a tough match at home as we host 5th place Corinthian Casuals. Punch
JAN 2027 - Match Day 29 - Vs Corinthian Casuals FC Match Report Spoiler A tight affair at the Lane as we held the more fancied Casuals to a draw. A goal each, but the amount of defensive work we had to do blunted our offence. Table Spoiler We sit 11th, and we've increased our gap over the relegation zone to 14 points. Up next...we host 20th place Chelmsford.

Punch
JAN 2027 A brilliant month as we go undefeated in the League, and also advance in the FA Trophy. The Analyst is still happy with our performances. We end the month in 11th place, with a 14 point gap above the relegation zone. Stats Goalkeepers Defenders Midfielders Forwards Kirkpatrick has reached 50 League goals for the club. Another ticked off, just the one to go now. I decided to hit the Board up for another improvement, and they agreed to this, with minimal fuss. However, they wouldn't budge on the Coaching. Punch
FEB 2027 - Match Day 30 - Vs Chelmsford City FC Match Report Spoiler A tight battle at the Lane as we couldn't be separated from the Clarets. An early goal for the visitors, before we hit back just after the break, but neither side could find a winner. Oops! We get penalised for too many yellows. The hosts controlled the match from the start, and while it took them until just before half time to score, they ran away with it in the second half. Table Spoiler We sit in 12th place, 12 points clear of the relegation zone. Punch
FEB 2027 - FA Trophy 5th Round - Vs Oldham Athletic AFC Match Report Spoiler A boilover at the Lane as we upset the highly favoured Latics. We put in the defensive performance of our lives to keep the visitors scoreless, and broke their hearts deep into injury time with a goal against the run of play. Quarter Final Draw Spoiler Another tough ask as we host the National League leaders Bromley. Up next...we travel to 19th place Oxford City as we return to League action. Punch
FEB 2027 - Match Day 31 The rest of the League played their match day 31 games while we were on FA Trophy duty. Punch
FEB 2027 - Match Day 32 - At Oxford City FC Marriotts Stadium - Witney Spoiler Match Report Spoiler A massive comeback turns into a huge win over the Hoops. After falling behind early, we hit back, and hard, banging home four goals in a 10 minute stretch either side of half time. We end up running out 5-1 winners after another late goal rounded out a great comeback win. Table Spoiler We jump to 11th, now 15 points clear of relegation. Punch
FEB 2027 - Match Day 33 - Vs Tonbridge Angels FC Match Report Spoiler A strange game as neither side was able to make the most of the few chances that were created. We share the points, but it still feels like a missed chance. The Ref had a day out, handing out yellows like they were business cards. We got 8, and still managed to keep 11 players on the field, while they collected 3, to make 11 in total for the match. It was all starters who were carded, so 8 out of 11 starters were yellow carded, without a send off. That has to be some kind of record. Table Spoiler The draw takes us to 10th place. While we haven't reached the magical 50 point mark yet, we are now 16 points ahead of the relegation zone, with 13 games to play. Up next...a tough road trip as we head to 5th place Dover. An early goal each before a tight tussle, with a deflected own goal late in the match proving the difference. Table Spoiler We drop to 12th, 13 points clear of the relegation zone. Punch
FEB 2027 Not our best month, only winning one of five League games, we did manage to advance in the FA Trophy though. Unfortunately we couldn't hang on, the visitors scoring in the final 10 minutes, and we ended up sharing the points. Table Spoiler We hold 10th place, although we are a game ahead of most of the teams around us. We have, however, reached the 50 point mark, which is generally accepted as safe from relegation. Relegation shouldn't be an issue, with an outside chance of playoffs still a possibility. Are you happy with how the season is going? While we have probably over-achieved in some ways, we have been massively inconsistent in patches. And by that I mean in compared to last season, where in patches we were invincible, and while I know we are playing a higher level of opposition this season, we just seem to have been a lot more hit and miss this season. We have flip-flopped from 5 games without a win, to 5 games without a loss, straight back to 5 games without a win. I guess that's the beauty of playing with kids, you have to expect some inconsistency, and try and push through it until they gel together, cut out the mistakes, and create more/take more chances.

The Beavers sacked their manager the day before the game, and are in the relegation zone, but we just couldn't create enough chances. The sooner they make the National Leagues three up-three down, the better. Like the IRL National League title fight this year. We had probably outplayed the hosts over the course of the match, but as time wound down, we found ourselves level. In the shadows of full time, we earned a penalty after Docherty was pulled down in the box, which Tyrie converted calmly to secure the win. Table Spoiler We stay 12th with 8 games to play. Punch
MAR 2027 - Youth Intake The Class of 27 arrives Plenty of potential in the star show, but interestingly, one of the highest potential players, has one of the lower PA star ranks. A real mixed bag among the attribute scores as well. There are some players with a high score, but lower potential, and low scores, with higher potential. Going to be interesting to see how they pan out. More players with dual citizenship this year, as we welcome our first players from Angola, Iceland, and Slovakia. The top 3 Spoiler Jones looks to be a solid defender, now to get that potential out of him. A good looking midfielder, needs to grow his pace, but plenty of potential. Another solid looking defender to come through this season, with some luck we can get them to reach potential, and help increase the back line stocks. Not sure what to make of this intake. A lot of potential, but some low attributes as well, and vice-versa. I do know that with now 80 players at the club, it might be time to hit the Board for that U21s squad, as we are going to have a lot of players, not playing.

Punch
MAR 2027 - Player spotlights I was trawling through the data hub and noticed that the Analyst had highlighted a couple of players to take a look at this month. Attacking Player of the month Easter, a versatile forward, who can and has filled every spot in the front four. He had a busy month, appearing in every game, putting up some impressive numbers, also contributing two goals. He has also put up some impressive numbers for the season. While Docherty and Kirkpatrick contribute a lot of the goals, Easter puts in a lot of the hard work, that doesn't always show up on the glory stats. Defensive player of the month While his ratings have been down, his performances have been impressive, especially the goals conceded, versus the expected goals conceded. While Jones is a decent back up when he is on international duty, Sejdini is far and above as our number one keeper. Some good numbers for Sejdini over the course of the season too. Although it's telling that we have only kept 6 clean sheets in his 36 games. That's a defensive area to tighten up. We were able to cruise through the second half, while adding a 4th goal to put the icing on a brilliant performance. Table Spoiler With such an impressive goal difference, we have four games to play, and all of a sudden, we are not only now officially safe from relegation, we are now also an outside chance of stealing a play off spot. Punch
APR 2027 - Match Day 43 - At Carshalton Athletic FC Colston Avenue - Carshalton Spoiler Match Report Spoiler An incredible attacking performance, and a massive turning point sent us on the way to a huge win over The Robins. After Docherty gave us the lead at half time, a dodgey penalty call gave the host a chance to equalise, as the shot was pushed into the post to preserve our lead. A few minutes later, Docherty scored two goals in two minutes to open the game up, and break the home sides spirit. A goal each to finish the match, confirmed an unlikely 4-1 thrashing. Table Spoiler A stunning result sees us in the lofty heights of the last play off spot, with three games to play. They were just more clinical as they scored off both their only shots on target, and we couldn't make the most of the chances we created. Table Spoiler We drop out of the play off spots, and going to be a tough job to get back with two games to play. Up next...we travel to 18th place Worthing.
