Stop centre backs going forward for throw-ins

Is the throw in creator broken? I have set my instruction so that both centre backs stay back yet every throw in I have one in the box and am getting sick of being countered from them. Last year throw-ins were a shambles and nothing has changed.

I have the same problem, even though I've never been punished for that nor did I score from that throw in.

I got mine to stay back but have to set it to short throws otherwise i'll get about 1 in 3/4 thrown right to the opposition standing inside the penalty area with none of my players around him at all. There are 2-3 standing short though.
