Mediocre_Jake
I have created the Best of the 11 awards for 3 leagues that don't have them by default. I did this by duplicating the K League 1 (Korean Top Division) and then changing the league they run with. The K League 1 original award has no issues. The awards themselves are working in one way, as in they are actually showing the top 11 every week. But the announcement news is broken and isn't showing the title in the news feed. It is just blank saying 'players named in...' or simply says 'Announced'. I will add images to show what the news item in-game says. The final image also shows the in-editor name for the award, so I have set a name there. Does anybody know what's wrong? I duplicated the awards as it was recommended to make sure the awards work on the correct schedule, and all the other duplicated awards work. Just not the Best of 11 one. themodelcitizen
If you duplicate an award, you have to change both the "long name" and "short name". Most of the time, if you're duplicating an award like Best XI, you'll change the long name from "K-League Player of the Year" to "K4 League Player of the Year" (or whatever it may be), but you don't bother changing the short name, which already says "Player of the Year". The game reads that as blank for some reason though, you need to register a "change" (on the bottom left of the award you can see all the database changes). Even just changing a letter in the short name, and then changing it back, will register as a change and the name should show up in-game.

Good to know for the future, another fun little 'quirk' to the editor.
