Is it possible or would it make sense to play high pressure counter football with a DLFs in a 4231DM ?

Depends on what roles you have around him I’d say. 
 

if you have for example an IFa of an SS or even an AF/P next to him, sure. But then ask yourself if he isn’t better suited to a TF because that role is a ball magnet role (at least that’s what they say :-))

Depends on how high pressure your want, the obvious answer for a high pressure striker role would be the Pressing Forward on Attack, but absolutely, a DLF partnered with another role like @Yiszmentions would be fine.
