Sahaj Oberoi
Scott Twine signed for Hull for 9.5 million pounds. Edward Rangel joined Burnley from San Jose for 3.6 million pounds. Jack Cork has agreed to join Nimes for 220k pounds in January and Sean Longstaff is coming in January from Celtic for 2.3 million pounds.
Sahaj Oberoi
Our up and down form in the league means that we have to be patient with the team gelling and giving decent performances.
Sahaj Oberoi
We are in a bad rut. And we need to pick up points soon. We have to improve our form and the loss to Plymouth was the worst performance I have seen by any team I have managed.
Sahaj Oberoi
Two board meetings. I am on thin ice when it comes to my job at Burnley and I need to do something about it. We got a win in between but we are so inconsistent it is actually crazy.
Sahaj Oberoi
Another board meeting, but we managed to avoid the sack. We won a crucial game against Sheffield Wednesday, and that has lowered the pressure in the job. We have a few injuries here and there though. Sahaj Oberoi
Another board meeting and two bad performances. It is like walking on a tightrope here at Burnley. We need to step up our game and win more games, that is the only solution. We have survived the sack once again but we need to step up.
Sahaj Oberoi
These board meetings are like a roller coaster ride and a loss at home to Middlesbrough along with an injury crisis are a nightmare to deal with, along with plenty of out of form players.
Sahaj Oberoi
The injuries and form are killing us. It is honestly getting dysfunctional, we need a lift here at Burnley to get the squad up for the challenge. We also face Middlesbrough in the FA Cup third round.
Sahaj Oberoi
Two draws have stopped the rot, but we need to get better. Jordan Amavi has gone on loan to Nimes. Hopefully it is a good loan spell for him.
Sahaj Oberoi
I got sacked by Burnley, the reason? I did not drop Vitinho from the starting lineup. I have been there for just over 8 months. Anyway my journey at Burnley has ended, it was very stop-start. I leave them in 20th place in the Championship. Not such a great record to be fair and I deserved the sack. Sahaj Oberoi
We finally have a new job. And the club I am joining is Barnsley, who are bottom of the Championship. It was the only decent sized club who wanted me, so I took the job despite the state they are in. We have to save them from relegation. This is what the Barnsley squad looks like.
Sahaj Oberoi
I played three games as Barnsley manager and I resigned from the job within 13 days in game as I felt that the gap to beat relegation was a job of a miracle worker and although things got better game by game, the first game being the worst one, it was a difficult task and I could not risk a relegation on my resume. And I have left with my reputation intact. At the time I wanted a decent job after the stint at Burnley so I needed a job in the Championship at a minimum so the Barnsley job was the one I took even though I thought it was a challenge and the challenge has proved to be too big. Sahaj Oberoi
What happened in Europe in the 2025-26 season (Part 3) Also we had a couple of interviews in the beginning and we are still continuing our job search.
Sahaj Oberoi
So we have a new job, and it is by far the biggest job I have landed in the save. It is the Fulham job in the Championship after they recently got relegated from the Premier League. My self preservation at Barnsley where I left after 3 games has enabled me to protect my reputation and help me land the job. Did I fail upwards? Only time will tell but I am pleased to have landed on my feet. Also I received a few job offers from other clubs but I declined them. And this is what the Fulham squad looks like. Sahaj Oberoi
Santiago Pierotti has terminated his contract with Fulham. The form has gotten better but we still need some more consistency to maintain our promotion push this season.
Sahaj Oberoi
Tobias Malecki has joined Fulham from Argentinos Jrs. for 5.25 million pounds. He will join in January. Our form is still inconsistent but our run in the Carabao Cup is still going on. Edited April 24, 2023 by Sahajpal Oberoi
Sahaj Oberoi
We had four games and we are unbeaten in four games, I am happy if we can continue that unbeaten run. We also face Manchester United in the next round of the Carabao Cup.
Sahaj Oberoi
Inconsistent form means we are in 14th place in the Championship, we need a good run of results. The players asked me to change tactics and so far we are looking more solid defensively as a result of that so let's see whether that continues.

Sahaj Oberoi
Things are looking up in the league as we won three games in a row. We also face Burnley in the third round of the FA Cup, so I hope I beat one of my former clubs.
Sahaj Oberoi
We have hit a brick wall in terms of our form. Matheus Goncalves has had a couple of Hatem Ben Arfa-esque goals that he scored to keep us in games. But apart from that we are about 5 points away from the playoffs so hopefully we make it there. Sahaj Oberoi
I have been sacked by Fulham, a 41% win rate. The highest win rate I have had at any club, so this is my most successful period as a manager. I feel I am improving as a manager but I have been sacked within nearly six months. Now I hope I can take my experience at a different club.
Sahaj Oberoi
I have a new job already. I am now the new Ivory Coast manager. I have seen the squad, and it is a very good squad. Sahaj Oberoi
After making it hard for ourselves in the group stage of the African Cup of Nations and getting through the group, we faced DR Congo in the first knockout round and we made it hard for ourselves there too, but we made it to the next round. Sahaj Oberoi
Knocked out of the African Cup of Nations in the worst possible way by Tunisia in the Quarter Finals. We lost on penalties, I felt we were riding our luck in this tournament and the result is deserved. I resigned because I feared the backlash from the Ivory Coast fans and I felt like the team was good enough to come away with something but penalties are like the luck of the draw and Tunisia made it to the semi finals.
