Serious red card offence rules

is there no way of changing the number of games in this category? as an example, scottish game, league rules "serious offence ban information - one match : striking another player, two matches : violent conduct" 

just seems like it is either have it on or off altogether but having it off and changing the red card options, none of them are that suitable. 

trying to get 1 game ban for any red card except violent conduct/serious foul play which is 2 game ban. definitely not 1 game for any red then adding 2 for violent conduct etc.
