how to unlock non playable team and use existing rules (Faroe Islands, for instance)

Hey all, Why is there no step-by-step about this?

Do you mean the national team? You just need to have enough players from that country and the national team is playable.

Or do you mean the league? Add Nation Rules and choose to create new competitions and rules. Basic rules are pretty simple and there's a wizard that pops up to help you set things up, as long as you don't want anything out of the ordinary it can be done entirely through that.

I'm trying to open leagues. Can get as far as this in the wizard and when you choose the Faroe Islands it only allows you to "create new competition" which seems like you have to start from scratch. How do you use the leagues as they are?

Yeah, you have to create new competitions. There aren't any leagues setup for the Faroe Islands in the default database, so you'll need to create the rules for them.

It is in there already! The divisions and the teams! Why can't you use what's there?

You can. There's just no rules for it, so you have to create them from scratch first. Choose create new competitions, then add a division and it will ask which division, choose that one and then setup all the rules etc.
