Guest
In FM23, there are 14 teams that have never won an MLS Cup. Here's a little neat graphic I found from this website, that shows all the teams:https://www.rookieroad.com/soccer/which-mls-teams-have-never-won-cup-4087197/ *The last three teams are now either defunct or not in the MLS anymore* To pick our first team, I went with the classic wheel spin: Montreal it is! Guest
CF Montreal Squad: Key Players: Victor Wanyama may be past his prime, but he's still an elite MLS player. Our main man up top is Honduras international Romell Quioto. He's a very well rounded striker, who can do a little bit of everything. Kamal Miller is a solid CB who has 25 Canada caps to his name. Hot Prospects: Sean Rea is a Montreal academy prospect, who is very solid. He will be playing plenty this season. Þorkelsson is an okay wingback, but very unspectacular. His consistency and decisions will help him, though.
Guest
First signing has been made. Digão is a no nonsense CB who is incredibly strong. He played most of his career in Brazil, but has experience in the Saudi and Thai leagues as well.

Guest
First trade under our belt Toye was inconsistent and hates big matches so he's gone.

Funny this - he’s the 2024 leading MLS scorer with 22 in 30 in my current save and leading Montreal’s challenge for the Supporters Shield. He’s also caused my Austin all kinds of trouble. The same concerns kept me from pursuing him, but he’s been excellent. On the save though - I’ll be following. I haven’t been able to get into watching the actual league, but my save in Austin has showed me how the MLS forces interesting and unique challenges and opportunities. Good luck in Canada! He's class but my biggest gripe with players in this game is inconsistency. Can't stand it. Loving your Austin save btw, can't wait to see where Lindsay ends up next! Guest
First youngster in and it is a Spanish right back, Trilli. Note that you only need 3 years to gain Canadian citizenship, so he will be a home grown player, as well as a Canadian citizen in 3 seasons.
Guest
Some academy signings Honestly not sure why I signed him. He has 5* potential but isn't going to reach it in my opinion. This kid I'm really excited about. He's got great speed, a great first touch, and likes to play with the team. Sasha Akhmedov is a shifty and quick Russian/Canadian winger. He is extremely consistent. He's of the same ilk as Akhmedov, but he's got a better personality. The best of the bunch, in my opinion, is Franz Uebersax, who is a right back with some great mental attributes.

Guest
It was an extremely poor start to life in Montreal, as we were winless in our first 7 games. Tactically, we've switched to a 4-2-4 and it has changed how we play immensely. We're only behind the 7th placed playoff spot on Goal Difference. We're in the bottom half, but we're trending upwards. 13th Man
Tough start, but was the 4-2-4 what spurned the turnaround? Four in a row is great in the MLS.
