Saint Helena is a British overseas territory located in the South Atlantic Ocean. It is a remote volcanic tropical island 1,950 kilometres (1,210 miles) west of the coast of south-western Africa, and 4,000 kilometres (2,500 mi) east of Rio de Janeiro in South America. It is one of three constituent parts of the British Overseas Territory of Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha.

Saint Helena measures about 16 by 8 kilometres (10 by 5 mi) and has a population of 4,439 per the 2021 census. It was named after Helena, mother of Constantine I. It is one of the most remote islands in the world and was uninhabited when discovered by the Portuguese enroute to the Indian subcontinent in 1502. For about four centuries the island was an important stopover for ships from Europe to Asia and back, while sailing around the African continent, until the opening of the Suez canal. St Helena is the United Kingdom's second-oldest overseas territory after Bermuda.

Saint Helena is known for being the site of Napoleon's second exile, following his final defeat in 1815.

The Saint Helena football team is a representative football team of Saint Helena, organised by the Saint Helena Football Association. The team is not affiliated with any confederation or FIFA.

The team made its international debut in June 2019 when participating in the 2019 Inter Games Football Tournament. Previously, St. Helena had played one previous fixture in 1949 against English side Lockheed Leamington as the Friday 18 November 1949 issue of the Leamington Courier notes 'Lockheed beat St. Helena 15–3, the visiting team coming from the island of St. Helena'.

Welcome to perhaps my most difficult challenge, a nation with a population eight times SMALLER than San Marino and a nation that managed to lose 9-0 to Guernsey just under four years ago, even San Marino could beat Guernsey, I'm pretty sure!

Using Twitter user DanFMDatabases I'm goign to try and undergo the unthinkable, make something out of this miniscule nation!

Francis Plain Playing Field is a multi-use sporting venue in Francis Plain, Saint Helena. The ground holds 2,000 and was built in 1970. It is used for cricket and football.

The Saint Helena Cricket Association (SHCA) utilises Francis Plain during the local cricket season which runs from December to May and includes a district league and three different tournaments. The cricket pitch is concrete overlaid with matting, rather than a traditional turf wicket.

The League:

The league will probably get very repetitive with just the six team and we may be 3rd favourites but we actually have the lowest reputation out of every club in the country so should have the most difficult time.

The league winners don't even qualify for the Champions League, I'm going to presume that this is like Africa's Liechtenstein in that we enter the Confederation Cup, I did ask the league creator that if we won that competition would we enter the Champions League and he didn't know but we're so, so far away from that! I have every league in Africa loaded as playable from Dave's pack which will make things even more difficult for us!

The pitch looks like something you'd see here in the US. Not the Mickey Mouse league (MLS) though, they only play on turf, lol

It's quite difficult when one pitch plays every sport, apparently it's a hard pitch which is also covered in rabbit holes!

I don't know where in the US you live but the pitches my daughter plays at here in California are way better than where I used to play as a kid in the UK haha

Love the crazy ideas as usual @Makoto Nakamura :D

Unfortunately our dream debut season double is off the cards after Rovers manage to beat us over two legs but we still have every chance of winning the league!

A nation as poor as this and we can even get an A ranking on the first intake? Oh dear.

I used to live in the Northeast(PA), may have something to do with the weather. Still got snow in March when we tried to start Spring soccer. You're right, now that I'm in the south, more pleasant weather, and the grass pitches are in much better shape. Just my take. Of course, the tier 3 team I watch here in Savannah, plays on turf, an (american football field).

There we have it! Season one and our first league title! Hopefully we get some good players in through the intake now to help with the squad depth!

11-1 on aggregate? That is far better than I expected, Falkland Islands representative lost 19-0 to Al-Masry so we've one-upped them! And two more wins in the league keeps our big lead!

St. Helena played their first international matches! Unfortunately it was a 3-0 loss to Botswana and 1-0 loss to Mayotte.

This is a very difficult challenge, like the only thing I could think of that would be more difficult is a youth-only save in the Pitcarin Islands, but they don't have a league. You're definitely insane, but in the best way possible
