Difficulties Changing Champions League Rules - Only 1 Team Advancing From Qualifying Rounds Instead Of 12

Pretty much as the title says. I wanted to expand the Champions League Group Stage to 48 teams, with a Round of 32 and so on, but it's saying that only 37 teams are qualifying for the Group Stage, and that there are an odd number of teams in the Final. Could someone help me with this please?

Number of Matches is probably your issue. It's how many matchups in the round total, not how many legs. eg. 8 teams means 4 matches, since it's 2 teams per match.

So your preliminary round should have 19 matches, the playoff 12 matches and so on.
