[FM 2008] Erasing licensed kits?

Hi folks!

I'm currently editing the legend that is FM 2008, however this question can apply to all games in the series. Basically, I want to display my own edited kits for each team, but this is blocked (on the team info page at least) by official kit licensing on some clubs.

So does anyone know if there's a way of disabling or deleting the licensed kit pics?

a quick search in the forum, maybe you can use that for something

Thanks sassofman..! I had searched of course, but not used the right wording. This is just what I needed! though it confirms my suspicion that it wouldn't be practical for an update file available to all.
