I tried using a new skin (done it before with other versions of the game...) however this time I tried put the skins into the right folders then went into preferences clicked away and chose flex09, unclicked that thing clicked that other thing pressed confirm... Then it was doing it thing but froze for like 10 mins... It was 'not responding' so I forced closed it... Now when I try to play its only black... Like it does all the beginning stuff, blue logo, that screen with all the legal mumbo jumbo, then the little circle thing on bottom right... Then black... WHAT DO I DO?? Samsung Posted December 3, 2008 Author Share Posted December 3, 2008 Eh I uninstalled... Reinstalling now.. How annoying... So what did I do wrong? Like I've done it plenty of times before... I add the 'skins' folder in C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\football manager 2009\data\sigfx thats right right? Hmm... Just froze on me.... I wanna use Flex skin can anyone give tips? radestock Posted December 3, 2008 Share Posted December 3, 2008 Yeah, don't ever put things in the install area EVER. Use the user data folder in your documents area. Also rather than guessing and picking the wrong location there is a sticky thread at the top of the forum telling you how to install graphics.
