My suggestions for FM24

MATCH PREPARATION/BEFORE MATCH & MATCH
So, it would be good if we could make "groups" (of 19 or 21 depending on the countries where championships) of players before the matches, because it is too easy to go and find a player in U19 or reserve 5 minutes before the match and put him on the team. We have our group and we do it on that basis.
That we can discard or put on the stands players who don’t train well, who perform poorly etc... that we can put a young person from the training centre in the group and that this encourages him to stay or else from the club if he is not part of the group precisely. He’ll see if the club trusts him or not.
That outdoor travel, especially long trips, can have an impact on players' fitness.
That the climate can also have an impact. For example if European players who go to play in Africa in humid climates and heat for example, that can be seen on the physical condition.
That the lawn can also have an impact on performance as for example with synthetic.

FORMATION
For me, we need to overhaul the youth training system, which is too random. You can save before the preview of your newgens in December to go from a mediocre generation to a golden generation.
That we can have categories of youth up to U13, U15, U17…  So we could have more control over the newgens and get a glimpse of what’s waiting for us and not find out when they pop in early March. Having categories of U13 (not with real players, I know that it is forbidden to put young people under 16 in the game) until the U19 would make it less «random» the arrival of newgens. That we can choose the type of profile we want in our training centre (technical, physical, offensive, defensive, good mentality…)
It would be nice to have an impact on the recruitment network. That is to say to know EXACTLY where our young people are recruited, in which club they were recruited or if they are in the club since childhood. That our youth training officer recruit youth for our training centre, as is the case in the real world. But also to have young departures, that there is movement as in real life. Choose the country where we want to recruit young people (depending on the size of our recruitment network)

NATIONAL TEAMS
That we can do training, that we can convince binational people to change nationality, in FM23 it is impossible. For example, it is not normal for a Franco-Senegalese, for example, at 32 years old, to tell you that he does not want to play for you but for the French team when he is offered a guaranteed starting place for the World Cup! Have real conversations with them to change their nationality.
Be able to have a staff, interactions with the president of the federation.
Have the same possibilities as with clubs.

TRANSFERS/CONTRACT
Contract negotiations, which are more of a chore than anything else. Make contract negotiations more difficult (Ousmane Dembélé case in 2022 for example) because in FM23, the negotiations are settled in 2 clicks. That we can have “soaps” with the uncertainty and twists of whether a player will prolong or not.

That players can choose not a club because of its reputation, but the club’s project! Others who choose the salary.. That clubs with projects around youth (Ajax, RB Leipzig, RB Salzburg, etc.) are the favorite clubs of young people at the time of their choice because the project is done around them. In FM23, I play with Salzburg and sometimes the young people refuse my proposals to be titular in my club to accept the offers of Man City or PSG and play in U23. Make players smarter in their choice of clubs.
Improve the promises that are poorly made too. Sometimes players sulk childishly when he doesn’t play the role he asked for. Or else a central defender who asks me in his promises to recruit.... IN CENTRAL DEFENSE (?)
Whether young people in the training centre can refuse professional or pre-contract contracts, young people systematically sign what is not realistic.
It would also be good for small clubs to stop selling their young nuggets for small amounts. That sometimes players can refuse offers from big clubs by announcing for example in the press "I decided to stay an extra year in my club" or if he has an offer at the January mercato "I finish the season in my club"
Players who visit facilities before signing into a club, that you can phone a player to influence his decision, make a contractual agreement with a player before making an offer to his club

More realistic transfers, (The Ajax that puts 50M€ on 30-year-old players), yes, I saw the Ajax put 50M on Lucas Ocampos when he was 30 years old. That’s not the club’s policy at all. I also saw a Brazilian club put 31M euros on Fernando from FC Seville when he was 36 years old in my game...
The evolution of market value. I would like to see a bit like in Transfermarkt the way in which the value of a player goes down and goes up according to injuries, years of contracts, performance etc...
Clubs that ANTICIPATE, if the club knows it will lose its central defender star in 1 year or 6 months, it will anticipate by recruiting its replacement.
It would be cool if some players had a career plan, we don’t feel that in FM I find.
That players who do not play (especially in big clubs) ask to leave when they do not play! In my part there is the young Manchester City Kayky who spent 3 years in the U23 team without playing with the main team of Guardiola, and without asking to leave. Or others who play 0 game of the season but don’t ask to leave…
I also see young people in my party who are short of playing time but who refuse loan offers in my affiliated clubs (Eredivisie and Bundesliga clubs)

PLAYER PROGRESSION/TRAINING
That the potential of the players is dynamic (CA I think), no longer make it fixed. This will make the game less “predictable” because the potentials will be evolutionary or even degressive, we will not mechanically take the nuggets of the game directly.
That the performance of young people in youth teams can have an impact on their progress. For example, my U19 forward centre finished the season with 30 goals scored but did not progress at all when he scored a lot. It would be good if it could progress and see its potential increase slightly. This would add great stories about players who reach an unexpected level at the base.

OTHERS
May there be more life in the game! players who get big heads, who come back with extra pounds on the comeback, trouble between teammates, players unhappy with being replaced, interactions with the president, players with "negative" influence.  Put players on the podium or bench because they arrived late at the pre-game talk…
Add “Kick” feature for goalkeepers
Be it other countries than France, Germany, Spain, England, Brazil, China, South Korea, Australia, Japan, Qatar, Russia, the USA, Mexico, South Africa… who organize the world cup
Siblings in newgens (like brothers Pogba, Ayew, Thuram…) and players with sons.
For example, Sofiane Diop is Moroccan by her mother and Senegalese by her father and French by birth, or Cody Gakpo born to a Dutch mother and Togolese father. It would be nice to see a mix of 'unusual' nationalities as in real life (Alexander N'doumbou former OM player is Gabonese and Chinese).  In FM the Métis are not represented, it would be nice to see them.
Ability to coach youth teams

Addition of U17 national teams and competitions (World Cup, euro, can, etc.)
The Japanese League license, please, please.
The games of the big teams against the small teams simulated by the game, always end in the same way: goal in the first minute, tennis score in the half and nothing in the second half. Look for yourself you will see, the games are never tight and there are never any surprises.
Personalities “without ambition” among players must be very rare, you know many players who have no ambition you?
Being able to affiliate with all the clubs of the game, the choices are too limited.
In customizing the database when you start a new part, you can choose by continent, country, divisions etc… I wish we could choose clubs too.
Players in the unselected leagues only play half-seasons, it’s a bug I think for several years, for example I am a coach of Salzburg, and all the players of my team B (Liefering) only play 15 games on average per season. Whether they are incumbents or replacements.

Here are my suggestions, I’m French so sorry for my bad English
