I wish I could tell my player and his agent exactly what I think of them

Recommended Posts

I am doing the challenge of bringing a team in england from the lowest division possible in England to win the Champions League.  Thanks to steam workshop I was able to go down 10 extra leagues and become the manager of Warminister Town. any way onto my Goal keeper. signed him as an 18 year old prospect and climbed the leagues and really grew his potential were now first in the championship but only just reached the January transfer window. several teams have bid for him and I rejected them all he is unhappy and wants to leave to play in the champions league. he has refused to sign a contract putting in a transfer request he got his value down to 20 mil which is annoying as I value him higher but the in game tells me he is not happy with the value I set £35m. so I had to accept his value. it gets worse in order to not upset the whole squad who caleld a team meeting I caved in and promised to accept anyone who bids £20m. only 1 club bids for him I accept the bid even though I really dont want to do so. and he comes back with his agent demanding £1m compensation... I rejected it.

The words I want to call him and his agent I cant say as there are youth players in my squad and they shouldnt be hearing it but I wish there was a way we could have words about this to the player. why should I agree to pay compensation to a player who wont sign a contract and is forcing a move?

I became hooked on this game when in my first season of my first career my vice captain asked for wages I couldn't begin to match so I shrugged, asked him to fire his agent and he did and took little more than half as much money. A couple seasons later, that was my player and after a Europa league group stage appearance got a contract well above his original ask. I like to think that virtual agent hates me to this day.

First and last time that ever worked for me. Convinced it was a SI move to get me hooked on the game before never letting me pull that stunt again!
