Deisler26
The Brief Third season in 1.Bundesliga, and the board brief this time was to Avoid Relegation this season, with our awful performance in DfB Pokal meaning we had no board expectations there. Our budgets were £1.1m in the wages and £38.5m transfer budget. The Results Our standard poor start, only alleviated by a ridiculous win over Dortmund. The Transfers IN DM/MC/AMC Alexander Mohr (£12.5m, Brighton & Hove Albion) DRC Fabian Förster (£5m, Eintracht Frankfurt) AMC/ST Leon Gottschalt-Guttau (£3.9m, Hamburger SV) M/AMLC Rene Binde (£850k, N.E.C Nijmegen) We spent heavily again on re-inforcements. All the players were brought in were unwanted by their clubs, which only goes to show that they're system players, not individuals. OUT DM/MC/AMC German Kulikov (£3m, Girona FC S.A.D) D/DM/MC Edison Murati (£12m, Bayer 04 Leverkusen) D/DM/M/AMC Andreas Flauder (£20m SV Werder Bremen) DRC Dražen Šušak (£20m, Stoke City) M/AMC Josef Zorn (loan, SC Freiburg) So, I took a chance and cleared the decks of our starting midfield, allowing for new arrivals and youth to (hopefully) flourish. We also sold Susak for a kings ransom, to fit in Forster and finally, with LGG's return, Zorn needed first team football, so was sent (grumbling) out on loan and Flauder's departure meant game time for some of our backups Edited November 17, 2023 by Deisler26

Deisler26
The Stats Bundesliga Table Results to date Full Stats Shooting Tackling Passing Possession Defending The Eye Test Extremely poor this season. We've conceded 7 goals from mistakes this season, which have all been very costly. We're terrible up front too, with us leading the league in underperforming our xG.. The only saving grace is that there are two clubs infinitely worse than us and we *should* win a playoff. However, judging by our lower league record recently.... Deisler26
This is next season's lineup without moves, including any transfers made in/out for the beginning of next season. Let's look through to see when/where there are issues. GK - Gosslar stays, Schwarz moves on. Urbig becomes backup DR - We're not getting any talent in at full back and things are beginning to look thin DCR - We've got our established players, nothing below that DCL - Farhat is our first choice libero. Lovett is our best defensive prospect... DL - As ever. We're so short at DL, it's unreal DMCR - Cakir is nailed on the best SV we have, Luvouvadio is a very good backup. Kraeft could be better than both, but he's only 15 DMCL - Our strongest position, now Mohr has resigned. Krauss is a decent backup and Flauder is only going to get stronger ML - Probably our strongest area now. All three could play in the first team AMR - Tomas is playing as a Raumdeuter and doing very well at it. Wenzel is also a good backup. Nothing below them AMC - LGG's return cements him as first choice, Zorn, nailed on #2. Waack is a good prospect, but wont see any game time unless there are injuries ST - Karner is still first choice by default. All three strikers are very poor and we desperately need an infusion of talent here Edited November 18, 2023 by Deisler26

Deisler26
Our prayers are answered. Well, as Meatloaf once said, two out of three ain't bad. Let's look at the top 3 prospects AML/ST Adnan Muric - Work Rate: 15, Pace 14, Technique 14 - DNA: PASSED It's too soon to say he'll be the saviour of the side, but it won't hurt. Need to ease him in though to avoid burnout. DR Eduard Dreher - Work Rate: 17, Pace 12, Technique 12 - DNA: PASSED He's got some knowledge of playing left back, so he'll be re-trained there as we are DESPERATE for left backs. AMR Niclas Fischer - Work Rate: 11, Pace 13, Technique 13 - DNA: PASSED Another right winger. Not entirely sure he'll ever be good enough to make the first team, but we'll see I guess.

We struggled all season long and, thanks to two clubs being infinitely worse than us, we ended up 16th in the Bundesliga and in the Relegation Playoff. We faced Eintracht Frankfurt and we triumphed 3-2 on aggregate over the two legs!. Heinz Karner once again led the way, but with just 7 goals, which is was just over a quarter of our total goals. Deisler26
The Stats Bundesliga Table Results to date Full Stats Shooting Tackling Passing Possession Defending The Eye Test Well. We're a far cry from last season. I think the move to having a Raumdeuter in the AMR slot hampered us last season and changing back this season has paid dividends. We're still not scoring many, but we're also not conceding as much. Marius Tomas is, unsurprisingly, our best player this season, leading in goals and assists! I don't think we'll make Europe, but mid-table will be excellent. The Transfer In D/DMC Tim Brodwolf (£3.1m, Bayer 04 Leverkusen) Out D/WBR/DM Nico Enzweiler (£10k, SV Darmstadt 98) DRLC/ML Kay Degrief (£55k, 1.FC Magdeburg) M/AMC Toprak Bolat (£12.25k, Konyaspor) D/DM/MC Ferda Satici (£500k, SC Paderborn 07) Again, backups being trimmed. Deisler26
This is next season's lineup without moves, including any transfers made in/out for the beginning of next season. Let's look through to see when/where there are issues. GK - Demmig has developed very well. To the point that if Gosslar goes, I feel comfortable for him to be the starter. Urbig becomes third choice DR - We're still not getting any talent in at full back and things are REALLY beginning to look thin DCR - We've got our starter and backup as established players, even our third choice is decent DCL - Farhat is our first choice libero. Lovett is our best defensive prospect. Sidiropoulos can play either side. DL - We have cover, it's just not decent cover DMCR - Cakir is marginally our best SV, Kraeft has surged into backup role and Luvovadio is now third choice DMCL - Mohr is our main. Krauss is a decent backup and Odeh is third place by default ML - Probably our strongest area now. All three could play in the first team AMR - Tomas is our best player. Period. Waack has also surged into the backup position. Wenzel is now third choice, despite being a talented player AMC - LGG's poor form puts him in backup with Zorn taking over the starter's role. ST - Franke is our starter and he's really not any good. All three are much of a muchness
Deisler26
We got a decent DL here, which soothes some ruffled feathers, but not much in the way of anything else DL Martin Bormann - Work Rate: 10, Pace 12, Technique 16 - DNA: FAILED We could finally lay to rest all our left back fears. Could. He wont be 'ready' for first team football for two or so seasons however. GK Gareth Davies - Work Rate: 11, Pace 12 - DNA: FAILED Yet another keeper off the production line. We could do with him getting better to be sold. D/DM/MC Dionysis Galatas - Work Rate: 10, Pace 12, Technique 13 - DNA: FAILED He'll never make it at DM or DC, but I'll retrain him to be a DL

It all came down to the last day where Borussia Monchengladbach and I were tied on 51 points. However we beat 1.FC Koln and they lost to Hamburger SV! Marius Tomas led the way this season with 12 goals and 10 assists, which is great, however Christian Franke was second with 8 and everdecreasing returns from our forward line is very concerning. We also had a somewhat-standard DfB Pokal campaign, losing to fellow Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim 1899, 1-2 in which Leon Gottschalt-Guttau was sent off. Our search for top flight silverware goes on. Deisler26
The Brief Our fifth season in 1.Bundesliga, our first in European competition and the board have lost their minds! First up, they want us to Finish Mid-table in the Bundesliga this season! OK, I can see that, but they want us to Reach the latter stages of the UEFA Europa Conference League! On our debut??? This will be hard, especially with the squad we have.. The board, once again, don't care about our performance in DfB Pokal. Our budgets were £1.7m in the wages and £35.5m transfer budget. The Results A decent enough start. Qualifying for the Group Stages of the Conference League and an easy passage into the next round of the DfB Pokal The Transfers IN DRC Rodan Ginter (Free Transfer) DRC Markus Kallnik (loan, Liverpool FC) We needed decent right back cover for our system and a recently-released Ginter was a great idea. OUT DC Mateusz Łuszkiewicz (£10m, Atalanta) GK Jannik Urbig (£500k, SG Dynamo Dresden) Mateusz became expendable once Kallnik was signed and with his refusal to sign a new deal, he was out.
