We FINALLY got over our DfB Pokal hump, with a successful campaign, beating fellow 1.Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, 3-1 in the Final. We also triumphed in the UEFA Europa League by beating Manchester United 2-1, with Kristoffer Kraeft scoring what was the winning goal in the 12th minute of the Final. Deisler26
Welcome to Loan Watch. Our feeder club is SpVgg Greuther Fürth in the 3.Liga. This will allow me to be able to send my best prospects off for meaningful football for a season. In our second season in this venture, we sent out MC/AMLC Josef Zorn, DLC Sunny Etim, DR Ciaran O'Reilly, AMLC/ST Tobias Schubert, ML/AMC/ST Yannick Krause and AMRL/ST Jovan Busch. The club ended up finishing 17th in 3.Liga last season and were relegated. Josef Zorn - An average season for the attacking midfielder, as he played 3,353 minutes of first team football, scoring 7 goals and assisting twice. An Avg Rating of 6.84 wasn't the best, but not the worst either. Sunny Etim - Playing mainly as a central defender, Sunny racked up 3,068 minutes of first team football for the club, assisting twice. His Avg Rating of 6.81 is also a decent marker of a spell there. Tobias Schubert - The striker appeared for 3,021 minutes this season. His 6 goals and 7 assists was half decent, as was his Avg Rating of 6.76, but goal droughts of both 4 and 3 months is quite worrying. Jovan Busch - A good loan for the young American as he appeared for 2,265 minutes this season, proving his worth over the season, despite not starting a game until October. His 13 goals led the team and his Avg Rating of 6.85 also led the team Yannick Krause - A poor loan spell for the young winger and his 289 minutes of first team football, scoring 2 goals for an Avg Rating of 6.80, was not what I was looking for. Ciaran O'Reilly - The Irish right back played 1,591 mins this season, not registering a goal or an assist. With his Avg Rating of 6.76, It is the very definition of mediocre. Deisler26
The Brief Season 9 in 1.Bundesliga, and the board brief this time was to Finish in the European Qualification Spots this season in the league, building on our last season. In the DfB Pokal, the board want us to make the Quarter Finals. Finally, the board want us to make the Group Stage of the UEFA Champions League. Our budgets were £1.9m in the wages and £94m transfer budget. The Results Great in the cups, inauspicious in the league, The 0-1 was very annoying as we battered them and still lost The Transfers IN DC/DM/AMC Andreas Flauder (£5.5m, SC Werder Bremen) DC/DM/AMC Bjorn Kopnick (Free Transfer) DM/MC Domingos Pereira (Free Transfer) Bringing back three former academy products was a no-brainer. Bjorn for the II team and Flauder and Pereira for the backups. OUT DM/MC/ST Alain Luvovadio (£10m, VfL Wolfsburg) M/AML/ST Harald Saidou (£31m, PSV Eindhoven) DRC Fabian Forster (£8m, Real Valladolid) GK Daniel Gosslar (£6m, FC Barcelona) A lot of shifting of players close to the end of their contracts to make space for up and coming players

Deisler26
The Dilemma Here is somewhat of an ethical dilemma, I came across this player whilst on a scout of the 2.Bundesliga U-18 sides. Lovely, good for Schalke. However.... this was the interesting part.. What?? I've never seen this about a 16 year old? No role for him?? Listed? I've rationalised it as I'm poaching a player from another teams youth system. Even if he never gets any better, it's worth it He's signed a £1.1k p/w deal with us to start in the January transfer window.
Deisler26
The Stats Bundesliga Table Results to date Full Stats Shooting Tackling Passing Possession Defending The Eye Test A brilliant season so far as we've managed to be top of the pile going into the business end of the season. Not entirely sure how it's happened, but we're at least hoping for a top 3 UCL spot. Adnan Muric is leading our goalscoring charts with 12 so far this season and we're also still in the UCL and doing well, despite going out of the cup to a 2.Bundesliga side. Injuries are starting to bite however as well as a lack of depth. The Transfers IN DC/DM Edison Murati (£2m, Galatasaray S.K.) M/AMC Dejvi Hoxha (£6.5m, Schalke 04) We brought back a team favourite for his third spell at the club and hopefully his last. The plan is to get him to retire here. Also, we poached a transfer-listed 16 year old. No, I've never seen it before either OUT DM/M/AMC Kristoffer Kraeft (£160m, Liverpool FC) AML/ST Tobias Schubert (£5m, VfB Stuttgart) Well... The biggest transfer fee I've ever received on FM and it wasn't for Tomas!!! You can't turn down £160m for a player (especially as it was his release clause) and we also offloaded our recently acquired former poachee. He had a poor season for us and the emergence of Jovan Busch meant we could cut him loose for a profit.
Deisler26
This is next season's lineup without moves. Let's look through to see when/where there are issues. GK - Demmig is the clear #1 and Davies clear #2. Janowski is de facto third choice, but we have a few possible talents in the youth team DR - Kallnik is top and Dreher will be #2. Unless O'Reilly takes a quantum leap in the next season, he'll be usurped next season DCR - Nothing changes thankfully DCL - Same here. DL - Bormann is #1 and I'm planning to see Turgemann, so Egberts takes the backup slot with Aydin as third choice. All three are below 20 years old DMCR - Zorn has been repurposed as an SV as we have nothing really ready in the youth team. Flauder steps up to backup, which relegates him to third choice in the defence DMCL - Same as it ever was, only we've got Murati as a good third choice. ML - Derichs has overtaken Jarosch as his injury has kept him out most of the season just gone. Bagaev becomes third choice AMR - Same order as before, only Krause has joined the party as third choice AMC - Tomas and LGG are the cemented duo, but after this season, hopefully some of our prospects will be good enough to step up to third choice ST - Muric and Busch are literally the only two forwards I trust. I'll use the offseason to work out some youth prospects, but we could do with depth here

Deisler26
Some decent prospects here, just not in the DM strata FFS. Since it's considered an Excellent intake, let's look at my top 3 prospects.. D/MC Adrian Musiolik - Work Rate: 12, Pace 11, Techinque 15 - DNA: Passed Adrian will be hopefully moulded into a decent Segundo Volante sooner rather than later AMRC Luca Gashi - Work Rate: 12, Pace 12, Techinque 12 - DNA: Passed This is my personal favourite of the intake. This kid can be a starter on the right if he improves the way he's started M/AMRC Qendrim Mehmeti - Work Rate: 11, Pace 11, Techinque 15 - DNA: Passed A flyer on the AMC role. FC Köln, we lost the title on goal difference as RB also won their game with a 85th minute winner. Adnan Muric led the way with 20 goals, with captain Marius Tomas in double figures again with 15 goals and 13 assists for the season . We fell to our semi-regular DfB Pokal choke to a 2.Bundesliga side, St. Pauli again this time. We also were knocked out of the UEFA Champions League in the Round of 16 by Juventus 3-2 on aggregate. Deisler26
Well, we had 5 attendees at UEFA Euro 2044, with Kallnik, Tomas and Cakir all making their second tournament appearances whilst at the club, with Murati and Demmig as debutants with us. Let's see how the players and their countries got on. Albania - Out, Second Round Edison Murati's third spell at the club saw him called up for Albania's EURO 2024 campaign and given the vice-captain's role, however it ended in disappointment as he was on the pitch for the whole 90 minutes in the opening 2-1 win over Sweden, but subbed in the 2-4 loss to Ukraine. He was also subbed late on in the 0-0 draw with Germany that ultimately saw them qualify on goal difference. Sadly, their run came to an end with a poor performance in the 1-4 loss to Portugal Germany - Out, Quarter Final We had two players on duty with Germany, goalie Fabian Demmig and captain Markus Kallnik. Both had a horrendous opening match in the opening 1-2 win over Ukraine and they didn't play much better in the 4-2 win over Sweden. Kallnik was even subbed in the 0-0 draw with Albania, however Demmig picked up the POTM award. The Germans limped through to the Second Round, where they faced Poland. Ex-Cottbus midfielder Kristoffer Kraeft scored the winner mid-way through the first half and Demmig continued his form from the last game, before Kallnik was subbed late on. This set up a Quarter Final clash with old enemies England. And both players played poorly in a 0-2 defeat with Kallnik subbed for the third game in a row. Romania - Out, Group Stage Marius Tomas' EURO 2024 campaign for Romania ended in bitter disappointment as he was on the pitch for the whole 90 minutes in the opening 1-3 loss against France, but bounced back n the 1-0 win over Norway. He was extemely subdued in the 0-2 loss to Scotland that saw them out of the competition, finishing third in the group Turkey - Out, Group Stage A disastrous EURO 2024 campaign for Okay Cakir saw his Turkey side finish bottom of the group without a win as he was on the pitch for the whole 90 minutes in the opening 1-4 loss against Serbia, an unused sub in the 1-2 loss against Wales and subbed in the 1-5 loss to Scotland that saw them mercifully put out of their misery Edited December 23, 2023 by Deisler26

Deisler26
Well, we've got three good prospects in this intake, which is apparently ranked as Good. Let's check those prospects out AMR/ST Lefteris Karakitsos - Work Rate: 13, Pace 14, Techinque 10 - DNA: FAILED Hallelujah! He's (hopefully) our saviour for our striking woes. Hopefully. That high Composure will steer him well, but we need to up his Technique to be able to stay at the club DM/M/AMC Arjan Morina - Work Rate: 14, Pace 9, Techinque 15 - DNA: FAILED Morina's Pace lets him down here as he could be an excellent SV, so we'll put him on a intensive regime to up that. M/AMRC Ricky Peters - Work Rate: 14, Pace 10, Techinque 14 - DNA: PASSED We'll put Ricky on an intensive regime for Ball Control, so he can up his dribbling, so he can be a challenger for the AMR role. How Local Is Your Intake? We'll revive this segement, to find out any players from Cottbus or a 10-mile surround and keep an eye on them to see if we can get a true homegrown superstar! 1. Timo Richter Timo is the only prospect within an hour's drive of Cottbus. Probably won't amount to much, but we'll give him every chance.
