Sheriff7
Some times just some memories as kids are enough to create a story here. These are my memories... CAMEROON From the first WC i can remember (2002 Japan-S.Korea) Cameroon was the team who attract my interest (probably from their kits colors) and from back then always they are (except my country Greece) the only team i really support in the main tournament. THE CLUB AUXERRE Back when i was child i remember Greek National TV showing (without charge) games from League 1. Auxerre was the team who attract my interest (probably their beautiful kits made the difference again) + some great players for them back then(Jibril Cisse, Didie Drogba ++) THE EX PLAYER OLEMBE Well if you played Pro Evolution you should remember this beast (well a short beast) in midfield of Cameroon national team (also at Nantes and Marseille but i didn't managed them in a game or tournament). So welcome to another story which i really want to continue to fm24 also... But it looks like you're getting it together again now Well I can't remember something similar at any of my previous saves. Such an unexpected start and then 7 defeats in row. After our defeat against Marseille in most of these games we were allready behind the score after just 5-10 minutes! And from game to game our psychology was getting worst. But who knows? CALL UP These are Olembe's choices for the main tournament. Ekambi is still injured and missed WC. No other problems PREPERATION GAME Just one game before WC and second generally after Olembe's arrival. I wanted more games to test my players but probably schedule was really heavy for more games. Anyway a good performance and an away win against strong Bosnia. MAIN TOURNAMENT GROUP G As you already know we are in a very difficult group. FA EXPECTATIONS No much expects from Cameroonian FA. Matchday 1 And the worst start. I don't know what to say guys. Cameroonian Embolo was tooooooo fast for our defense and killed us in counter. A gently move from our players.. A draw in the other game. Brasil is next. Matchday 2 Another heavy defeat. Same problems in our defense even though they get a very early red card (P.Coutinio). At least we scored this time. Another win for Switzerland. Serbia for the last game,we are official out of the tournament. Matchday 3 And with a strong performance we said goodbye to WC with our heads up. We scored twice from set pieces and grabbed a deserved win. Another win for amazing Switzerland! GROUP TABLE & RESULTS We have to return stronger to the next WC. REST OF THE TOURNAMENT Switzerland was amazing at Group Stage round but lost immediately in round of 16. A shocking elimination for Argentina against very good Denmark. France was the winner. Every player is a personal choice of Olembe. OUT Many departures who bought us good money. IN And 13 newcomers! A very experienced Goali came as free agent. You should remember him playing for Dortmund and Switzerland. And his challenger. Vutsov came from Bulgaria and looks very promising. Loic Mbe Soh came on loan from Nottingham Forest with an optional future fee of 13 millions. He is one of the most promising Cameroonians and already International. You know this guy for sure. Jones was injured for huge space and we kept him here for many months on trial. At the end of his covering period we signed him permanently. Huge experience with ManU and England. He will be a bench choice for now. We were very close to sign him last summer also with a transfer fee from Benfica. He came as free agent this summer. He will be our 4th center back. Ebosse is a very important player for Cameroon and he came on loan from Udinese. He will start at the left side of our defense. Our scouters found this guy. We loaned him out to a Japanese club. He will get much more playing time there + we have already a very promising youth for this position(from our last youth intake) Pavelka came with just 73K from Sparta Prague and will be a key player in our midfield. Zaper had a great year with Osijek and decide to make the next step here. Another very promising Cameroonian. He and Soh are Cameroon's most promising youngsters. He came on loan from Lille with an optional future fee of 9 millions. Cebalos surprisingly was free agent until the first days of August and we signed him. I thought he will attract too much interest but only we offered him a contract. I believe he can be the sign of the year for us. What can i say for this legend? 52! caps with France and 4 amazing years with my beloved Olympiakos. I just love him. An English rising star who can be our leader in attack. STAFF Some changes in our staffroom also. SQUAD GK DEFENSE Mensah is a left back but with Ebosse at his position i decided to learn him right back position. It is a risk for the start but i believe he can make it. MIDFIELD ATTACK *Highlighted players will start. Only if we sold someone we will sign other player. Also we look to sold someone in Attack because we have too many players there. Many clubs are interested for Sinayoko. TACTICS SHEDULE A good pre season. Valbuena was just amazing. Sheriff7
SEASON 2023/2024 AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2023 END OF TRANSFER PERIOD OUT We had to sell someone from our attack and Andersson was the most reasonable choice. Araujo went on loan to Nacional because we wanted to create space for the newcomer below. IN Well he would join us on next December (as free agent from China) but some defensive problems in our first games changed Olembe's mind. So we gave some money and signed him from now. SHEDULE Not the best start. We haven't good tactical cohesion + some defensive problems (S.Sane is too slow for this level now) explain this start in league. As for the ECL with an away win and a home defeat (!) we eliminate LASK Linz and qualified for the group stage round. INFO We played awful against Lyon. LEAGUE 1 Second from the end... but is too early and the point difference isn't big. SCISPORTS DATA Too early to say something here. MATCHDAY 2 I made rotation against Benin and won them quite difficult. Especially in the first minutes Onana saved our ass 2-3 times. Ekambi's goal made the difference. Another W for Egypt and we are in next round. MATCHDAY 3 F@@@ck Egypt was 1 (at least) level higher from us and they smashed us. Our defense was too slow for their Attack.A humiliating result. AUXERRE And i don't know why but we dropped 2 places as club. JULY/AUGUST 2024 NEW SEASON EXPECTATIONS DEALS PRE SEASON TRANSFERS OUT We had some departures. Most of them played for B team. Ngadjui wasn't at Olembe's plans and sold to Monterrey.Same with Burki who signed for Crystal Palace. Sinayoko was in his last year of his contract and with no attention to renew, Sevilla's offer was excellent and he said goodbye. As for Vutsov he really wanted to leave us (for many months now he complained) so we loaned him out with a mandatory future fee (4,5 millions). Oyongo left us as free agent and legendary Valbuena retired. IN Larssoneur is a choice of our Technical Director and will be our number 1 for this season. Van Sas came as free agent from ManCity and will be our back up Keeper. Ethan Ampadu is a Welsh international and came as free agent from Chelsea. He looks a great choice. Lyanco was one of our investments this summer. He had a great year with Troyes last year and we bought him for 6 millions. You all know Kjaer. Legendary Danish man was in his last year of contract win A.C Milan and will be a bench choice for Olembe. Jordi Alba ladies and gentleman. Barca's legend came as free agent and he looks in great shape(20 appearances with Barca last season). Another free agent from Chelsea. He will be J.Alba's back up. Ampah is a young Ghanaian who can play in many positions. He will help more our B team.Of course he played for Chelsea too. A. Blanco is a great steal from R.Madrid. He came as free agent and looks amazing. Mani Ingason is our second (big) investment for this summer. He came from Rosenborg to replace Sinayoko. And last one is my Olympiakos favourite player.
