Players under the age of 14

Hi all,

Would it be possible to create a youth-team filled with generated players under the age of 14? I think it would be great fun to create academy teams with players with very low CA but high PA and develop them over the years.

This was possible in previous versions, FM15 or 16, but the minimum age is capped at 14 now, even if you create someone with a birthdate in the future. They will just take longer to get to age 15.

Does this mean that if you create a player with the editor who is under 14 years old, they will not show up in your save? Or will they show up eventually when they turn 14? If so, will they show up at the team you have them contracted to or will they just show up as a free agent?

If you assign them to a team, they will be at the team. Say you make their birthyear 2020, they will start as 14 year olds, until you hit 2035. Then they will turn 15. However...., because they are a long time in the game, the game sometimes retires them at age 20 or something like that. It is unpredictable.
