How do I add a minimum number of players of a certain nationality to the squad rules in the editor?

how do I add a minimum number of players of a certain nationality to the squad rules in the editor? Bundesliga has it (Minimum of 12 German players in squad) but i don't get how to do it

Apparently is with the setting same nation players in squad, i did a quick check of the squad rules of the bundesliga:

Interesting, I thought that was "same nation" regardless of nation, not domestic. The alternative is taking your squad limit and just subtracting 12, and limit the amount of foreigners to that number. But I'm guessing this way will encourage the AI to build up a squad of domestics in a far better way

The Same Nation rule may get tricky. Depends what you really want.

 

If you want Germans in Germany and Spaniards in Spain, then the foreigner limitation is the best course of action. You can also adjust it so that it won't start immediately, gives you time to build the roster for the next 1-2 seasons where you can implement this fully. All you have to do is add the rule several times and include an End Year (iirc if start year is 2000 and end year is 2000, then it will take place for season 2000-01, then you'd need a new rule with start year 2001. If you put end year 2001 in the initial rule, then it'd run for 2 seasons).

In this case, check the German rules as the German competition does have this kind of rule implemented.
