willreid1872 Posted August 3, 2023 Share Posted August 3, 2023 Is it a straight forward job to remove a couple of rounds from a league? I have been editing the Cypriot league and have added in another competition but this ends up with to much fixture congestion. The league has 3 rounds. A league where everyone plays each other twice Then a championship group and a relegation group consisting of top 8 and bottom 8. I want to remove these two groups and just make it a straight forward league. How difficult is this? And am I likely to run in to problems? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Best thing to do is look at a league that has 2 rounds only, and then copy that format, adjusting things to accommodate for 16 teams, and the relegation places you want. A relegation playoff would need to be tied in with the league below if it is to be a relegation / promotion playoff. If it's just a relegation playoff then you wouldn't need to do anything to the league below, just as long as it knows the right number of teams going up and coming down.
