The current system of allocating staff on a numerical basis is unrealistic. 6 scouts, 4 physios, 8 coaches etc, etc. It should be changed to a budget based system with the board allocating a permitted level of spend for each area. Scouting £30k pw, Medical Dept £20k pw and so on. With the decision on how those resources are allocated being left to the player. You could permit the reallocation of budgets based on board approval, have wage caps within each category and probably many more features that will make it more realistic than the current system.
