Since their foundation in 1931 Storfors AIK has participated mainly in the middle and lower divisions of the Swedish football league system. The club's best season was in 1966 when they won Division 3 Norra Norrland Övre which was then the third tier of Swedish football. However, Storfors lost the two legged promotion play-offs with Skellefteå AIK 1–3 on aggregate and missed out on promotion to Division 2. The club currently plays in Division 3 Norra Norrland which is the fifth tier of Swedish football. They play their home matches at the Hedens IP Storfors in Piteå. Storfors AIK are affiliated to the Norrbottens Fotbollförbund. A 200 capacity stadium! We actually have a good, young squad with plenty of potential! Now we just have to keep them together! After reading threads from @Jimbokav1971, @Rikulec, @Reiver & @DaneBramage over the last couple of weeks it's inspired me to come back after a few months in semi-hiatus so hopefully I can get some love for FM back! The only save I've really had recently is a Polish journeyman which has ended up looking like this: A pretty realistic looking career! And now I'm looking to spend quite a lot of time meandering in the Swedish lower leagues with players who only come through our academy. I've only loaded Sweden as playable with all the rest of Europe's out of the box leagues loaded as view-only. I have also loaded all players based in Sweden as well as all players playing at top division clubs in Europe loaded giving me a database of close to 50,000 players. 11 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

No clean sheets but plenty of positives with Ovie scoring four goals in 35 minutes against Ytterhogdals and I have put my goalkeeper Fabian on penalty and freekick duty! 20 season tickets, that's 1/10th of capacity! Makoto Nakamura Posted August 25, 2023 Author Share Posted August 25, 2023 June 2022 Eight games, we went eight games without a win but thankfully 38 hardy souls saw us defeat Kiruna and hopefully halt the slide down the table although we do have a ten point gap between ourselves and the relegation zone at the halfway point. Predicted down at the bottom of the league again which isn't surprising as we lost three first teamers due to being over our wage budget and not being able to renew their contracts. Next season will be even more difficult as both our goalkeeper Fabian and striker Ovie are refusing to sign new contracts. Before: After: We've spent £82,000 on staff wages so far this season (admittedly mine takes up like 1/4th of this.)..but we'll see how much this helps next season. We're due to lose another three first teamers though as their contract requirements are too high.
