Edited World Cup using fake players

I have edited the 2026 WC to be a 64 team tournament and it runs as expected all games are played and has the exact same player rules as the Euros that has also been edited to have more teams to be in the finals

In Euros the real players are picked for the comp

however in the WC you get the icon regarding player registration, but no real players are picked

looks like I fixed it by going to original WC squad selection and I cleared cache AppData SI FM23 folder

Hi mate

just a quick question regards squad size

IIRC there was a section [not under the players Tab where you can set the Maximum squad size] where you can set the minimum size it seems to be hard coded to 23, but I seem to remember having a minimum squad size option somewhere

Found it but its bugged

you cant select the enabled box to set the min squad size

 

edit-

but you can copy/paste from the default 2022 WC rules

will see if this works in game

Test in game- with min squad 25/ max 26 game doesnt read these [for Home nations/Euros/World Cup]

That's weird. I would go with squad registration rules for that too. Not sure how strictly it's enforced for international tournaments, that might be by design (could be situations where an international manager doesn't always have 23 players available so needs to use greyed out ones)

yes think you are right 

its a bit odd and if you try to set fixtures rules as you would in say a league then set squad selection to say max/min numbers

that doesnt work in international rules so
